I remember an interview with Zekken where he talked about how moments like that can tilt a team or affect them as a whole, especially under pressure, like when you start with a huge lead. For some reason, it’s actually easier to mentally reset after getting stomped in a round than after losing a super close one. Those close rounds give the team a kind of false hope or an imaginary sense of desperation going into the next round.
