Both Atom and Melser's contracts with the organization will expire at the end of the season, but they have been allowed by KRÜ to explore their options with a new team for 2026.

Atom had been KRÜ's head coach for the past three seasons, replacing Leazo in March of 2023. With Atom at the helm and Melser manning the team's Controller duties, the organization went to back-to-back Champions events, conquering the Americas LCQ in 2023 to qualify for Champions Los Angeles and then finishing third in Stage 2 in 2024 to qualify for Champions Seoul. To end 2025, a disappointing 7th-8th finish shut down KRÜ's bid to extend what was once the joint-longest active Champions attendance streak, which dated back to Champions 2021.
