Serial was unfortunate to join a team where his role is occupied by the star-player/IGL. Serial is definitely underrated and his aim might be some of the cleanest. He was putting up insane headshot percentages on his tracker - definitely a nice aesthetic stat. Hope Serial can get a second shot at Tier 1.
Slowly is definitely underrated. Silentzz is kind of underrated, but 2Glue truly were a shadow of their selves. Stew is funny because he has been revered as an amazing individual player since his time at Rare Atom - he's just stuck with JDG. Okeanos is underrated. Life, I would say is well-rated since he has been successful on stage for FPX in previous years and still shows his quality.
Comeback definitely felt impressive, but he definitely lacked that end product at times. Jawgemo, Derke and Kangkang cannot be overrated given that they are quality players who have been solid across time - Derke and Kangkang put up insane stats and Jawgemo is a great duelist on one of the best, most well-rounded teams of the year. Trent felt overrated after his monstrous peak with Tejo.
Honourable mentions for overrated would be PatrickWatson, Clickk and Icy. The first two had a lot of hype from their fanbases but completely fell flat. Icy is more down to his time at G2, but he still feels overrated since there are more suitable duelist options on the market that offer better firepower. Icy just feels like a sacrificial lamb.
Clickk and Icy are not overrated, they are both dogshit and the entirety of VLR knows it
I like Jawgemo but he just doesn’t have the ability to take over a match and be that star player, he is just permanently stuck at 1.05 rating whether it’s vs Furia or vs Heretics - Bangkok final is the sole exception to this
I see what you're saying. Clickk has more of a reason to be called purely dogshit, but he was still amazing for SK Gaming in Tier 2 and then just became the worst player in the league. Honestly, some teams just make duelists become sacrificial lambs. E.g.: Alexiik and Koalanoob for NAVI. It's sad to say, but NAVI seems to be killing duelist prospects. Icy is definitely overrated since his G2 and EG signings had people talking about him as the second coming of Demon1 just because he was on that 10-man roster in 2023. His 2025 season was more of a polished turd since he had some good games on sentinel, but he was absolutely overrated on G2 and a lot of G2 fans kept defending him as "a good team player" or "he opens space for his team to succeed" as if other duelists can't do that whilst fragging.
I mean alexiiik and koalanoob weren’t the best players in tier 2 and wouldn’t have been stellar somewhere else
Clickk being good for SK Gaming checks out, he should have stayed in brawl stars
The icy argument has been similar to Miniboo’s where he takes space but Miniboo at least can take over the game and not pi - also Icy has tried playing senti so he needs to just save his stocks and make some sort of attempt to do smth idk
