No idea which country came up with it but american chopsuey is truly magic.
no im not baiting there is a indian pizza place 5 min walking away from me I'll send a pic next time I get it
it's not an actual or known food in India ...... It was just made in and for foreign countries (especially the US)
it's pretty well known that the burger being invented in germany is a myth
It quite literally is! If you’re talking about the patty then it’s German, but the bun/patty concept is American.
This propaganda unfortunately seems to have been successful. "Döner" is literally Turkish word and invented in the Ottoman Empire, Bursa city 16th century. Germans claim that döner belongs to them but its bullshit. A type of bread and sauces cant change the origin of dish. For example If i put sushi between bread and add ketchup, the origin of dish wont change
And this is the earliest known photo of Döner, 1855 https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:D%C3%B6nerci,_1855.jpg also It's normal to say that Germany "style" of döner is better cuz I think so too. But that still doesn't change the origin of the dish
If I'm not mistaken, the original version of this photo is in a restaurant in Bursa city
egusi soup with pounded yam
personal hm: fried plantain n fried eggs (but it's not just a nigerian thing)
Iron plate beef with both sauces
popcorn chicken
street food. if you want a list or are ever in taiwan lemme know
hamburger, famed food made in america and not hamburg, germany
also weve made shit, ngl i hate poutine
best canadian invention is hawaiian (pineapple, bacon, ham) pizza, for some reason not even american for the name (no im not baiting theres a place near me that makes beautiful hawaiian pizza)
japan: takoyaki
india: chicken tikka masala
us: brisket, ribs, cheeseburger
well the poster could have a parent from India, a parent from Japan, and be born in the US (or moved to the US)
That’s a fun combo but not the case for me. I just lack reading comprehension
Fried Chicken (I'm an American but am ashamed so I hide behind this flag)
For Germany, if you don't count German style Döner, Schweinshaxe (Pork Knuckle) any day of the week
Italy: Pasta con ragu/tartufo/carbonara or mushroom risotto (porcini mushrooms)
CN: Beijing roast duck, 糖醋里脊, 小笼包
If it's comes to condiment, I think chicken or any form of meat pickle (like pork, beef) is a great addition to any Indian rice thali (preferably Southern Indian or NE India region)
