its over for him or he just entering his yay type arc?
not as bad but he had terrible performances before

aspas was on a world champion roster in his rookie year
after he left LOUD he was on a LEV superteam built around him
MIBR literally let him choose his own teammates
nobody else gets his level of favorable treatment
yay after leaving OPTIC was immediately fucked over by C9 for reasons we have yet to uncover
he had to grind through T2 afterwards with shitty teammates and a broke content creator org
he got signed by a BLEED team that was dogshit with or without yay and had internal team drama
all this after being the best player in the world for a year and anyone would crumble like he did
yeah it really isn't even close
casually omitting the loud 23 roster with two rookies who was top 2-3 on majors twice that collapsed after he left is nasty
also the "Lev Superteam" which he carried btw failed after he left too
and yeah bleed was a bad team and yay was a victim of C9 but lets not pretend he individually was alright because he was pretty bad even in context lol
LOUD was never gonna be the same with qck as the only roster change, in the same way the OPTIC core never performed after yay left and ardiis joined.
Demon1 was never a good substitute for aspas, their playstyle and agent pool is completely different. And we surely aren't acting like aspas did it all himself when mazino was GF MVP for americas. Mazino was one of their best players and very vocal, and he also left. Whole LEV team was a joke this year and you act like Aspas leaving was the only thing that changed.
Good players shine when they have good teams and good mental, is this news?
Yeah yay was shit after OPTIC but he had no help on whatever shitty roster he was on, was fucked over by his orgs, and had major issues getting along with teammates across both BLEED and DSG.
Aspas has always been on good rosters, never gotten fucked over by his org, has never been dropped randomly after playing well, has never had to play in tier 2 after being the best in the world last year, and has never had DSG steel and DSG genghsta and BLEED crazyguy on his teams causing issues and slandering him during the lowest point in his career.
LOUD was never gonna be the same with qck as the only roster change
it was the same 4-player core and it had two of the world champions mentioned before
in the same way the OPTIC core never performed after yay left and ardiis joined.
mf they were top 4 in the world in tokyo
they also got very close to eliminating loud in lockin and were clearly the top 4 at that event if their path didnt cross
champions was an outlier but their year overall was pretty good
and mazino was really important late year but he only started playing really well on split 2/champs + hes also pretty mid on kru now
lets not kid ourselves aspas was carrying them for half of the year he only got help later
Really curious to how when mazino starts performing aspas starts making internationals LOL
NRG has been insanely underwhelming for years. They have basically a superteam every year since yay left and have not been able to win shit.
And noting placements, LOUD literally made AMER Kickoff GF without aspas and qualified to masters madrid without Aspas AND got a top 4 finish. The team was doing alright with a clear downgrade in qck for half the year, and only then started to fall off. Aspas leaving was clearly not the ONLY reason they fell off.

Actually, regarding international classification, Mazino was not that special for Lev. The whole team made a difference See the two int classification maps stats-wise:
Shangai: http://vlr.gg/337413/kr-esports-vs-leviat-n-champions-tour-2024-americas-stage-1-lr1/?game=all&tab=overview
Like you can see the whole team showed up led by aspas. If you go to the decider sunset you would think Mazino was their best player but a lot of it was Exit Frags; on their strongest side mazino was actually their worst player
Champions: https://www.vlr.gg/371268/leviat-n-vs-kr-esports-champions-tour-2024-americas-stage-2-ubsf
Again, very good game from the whole team. Nothing special from Mazino on both maps.
Mazino stand-out performances came on GF's when he was the MVP (although aspas did have better stats on Lev-Won maps) and on the Champions playoffs run. Also, the team started doing better when Goked was out

Of course -yay +ardiis was a downgrade, but 2023 was still decent overall for them. 2024 S1 they didn't have a proper igl and Marved was a semi-retired player, S2 they didn't have a proper duelist on neon meta and imploded, and 2025 the optic core didn't exist anymore.
And noting placements, LOUD literally made AMER Kickoff GF without aspas and qualified to masters madrid without Aspas AND got a top 4 finish.
They got to masters carried by the phoenix gimmick. On masters they only won vs chinese teams and got smoked by the rest. Once the gimmick was over they bombed on stage 1. Qck was very unreliable and the lack of aspas was clear after a while. It was different with 2023 NRG as they held up for the majority of the year and only fell down at the very end
NRG were eliminated by BLG in 2023
past 2023 its basically a whole new team where yay;s absense isn't even relevant
NRG for sure fell off after yay left
I feel like conversation has derailed from my main points
I'm not arguing that aspas is a great player because he undeniably is
My point is that he can't be compared to yay because he hasn't gone through a fraction of what yay has and it is entirely possible that his enduringly consistent performance compared to yay is a result of their very different career trajectories.

LMAOO , Aspas never carried that team , the team played for him , blud was being average on BIG games , Mazino and King doing their best , Tex got into form after adjusting to a new role , Aspas dickriding is weird asf , blud didnt win anything big since Champions and is treated as if he was god lol
Yeah, bro, he was the best player in the champs, but people who didn't watch all their games are going to say KK was the best. Although KK was the best in the world in the final and also had moments in all games, Chichoo was the backbone of their win. The number of important rounds and clutches he won was really underappreciated.
