Let's just assume hypothetically I have a debt of 2300$, while I hypothetically earn 1800$, but my hypothetical rent is 700$ and there are some hypothetical bills to pay each month for food, gym, utilities, and stuff.
So if you were in the same 'hypothetical' boat as me, how would you tackle this?

hypothetical bills to pay each month for food, gym, utilities, and stuff.

paid back when? interest of?

I'd say around 500$. Interest is 22%, it's a credit card.

at what rate is this happening at (for everything)?

monthly?

if so, save the $600 dollars a month to pay off your debt and by month 5 you will be debt free

correct, monthly, I guess I can cut down to 300$ for food and stuff and do 800$ per month.

Just accept that you are gonna have to live frugally for a while, stop ordering food, stick to a stricter and cheaper diet. if you have the time i recommend going to the super markets every evening and shopping at the reduced sections and then freezing whatever you buy. I bought 1kg of chicken breast 75% off and just froze them when i got home, good as new when i eat them.

Cancel all subscriptions that you dont NEED (really be strict) you dont need netflix, hulu or whatever (just pirate) use youtube with an adblock for music/podcasts. Sell some old clothes/things you dont need on facebook or ebay or vinted (idk if you have that where you live).

Just make sure you are paying off more than your interest, obviously the faster the better.

also for gym id suggest taking like 60-90g of whey protein a day as its super cheap and still allows you to get to your protein goals while being frugal, some protein is better than no protein.

also someone has to say it but you gotta sort out whatever issue you had that made you go 2300 in debt on a credit card in order to move on from it

thanks guys for the suggestions. I guess I will really try gambling and throwing in t2 if nothing else works out.
If anyone needs me to throw games pls dm me. I can try to put up the same performance as havoc furia vs nrg on breeze, but no promises.

Don't be stupid.
"hypothetical bills to pay each month for food, gym, utilities, and stuff."

  1. budget grocery and cook - eat less, you can do it and just save more until your debt is all paid.
  2. cut off gym for a month or two - work out at home, do your basic requirements or try other alternative workouts for a month or two until your debt is all paid off.
  3. utilities - use less as much as possible until all your debt is all paid off
  4. stuff - minimize your expenses to the max for a month or two until all your debt is paid off
  5. if all else don't work, get off your lazy ass and grab another part-time job for a month or two, you might even enjoy it and perhaps make more $ while balancing your hours.

Hope you pay your bills asap, hopefully an angel can borrow money so you don't pay interest. After that, I recommend taking a personal finance lesson, about how to invest/spend money/how credit cards work, don't spent on what you can't afford.

Go into arrears on your rent, use that money to pay your debt, and then get evicted, find a new place, rinse and repeat. they cant enforce the court order for your to pay your landlord easily. life hack (only relevant to ontario, canada and also not actual advice this is a joke pls dont do this)
