am i high?

i feel like this masters basically has one conclusion going in and its g2 are favorites besides this the amount of varied takes im seeing is kinda crazy.

personally i feel like paper rex and liquid are being underrated massively and the 1st seeds like rrq, fnatic are being overrated. some rosters like fnatic are built to win regionally but they arent winning internationals kaajak is too inexperienced to expect this from their first international same with rrq. am i high for thinking this? i feel like it should be a pretty lukewarm take.

If TL can fix up things they have a chance but talking about Shiterex they will get decimated anyways just take two losses

tbf, SEN showed than G2 can be beaten. All things considered, if they face anyone out of SEN/FNC/TH/GENG on the right day, and you could throw more into the mix, there is a realistic chance that G2 don't win the event.

g2 barely made it through americas playoffs and are somehow favorites

There is a general feeling that JoshRT is the best coach in NA (not to put down the goat potter, chill) and when that's mixed with valyn you've got your best chances at taking home a win. Definitely NA bias.

But you've seen a lot of EMEA upsets so its harder to gauge across regions. You're looking at G2 who has steadily been the best performer versus other regions that do not have a similar dominating team.

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, G2 follows a very lose adoption of a CS framework and that works in an environment that is trying to mirror each other and perform better than their opponents. But that leads to a very specific style of play that runs into trouble when faced with new challenges. The loose rules of CS help G2 gap some teams who just try to follow the "agent meta."

I'm excited to see how well this holds up against the other regions but its more even than people think.
