Which anime show or character do you think will break the anime community bubble next? Like which will become so popular that general public can answer what that show or character is when shown an image of it even if they have very limited knowledge of anime?
Only shows or characters that I think are at this level already are dragon ball and Goku, pokemon and Pikachu obviously and Naruto both show and character.

Sung Jin woo and solo leveling already at that level. Yes obviously not as popular as Goku and pokemon but It is as popular as Naruto already. I actually think non anime fans will know sung Jin woo more than Naruto.

Luffy when one piece ends otherwise he still ain't at that level I think. For other shows it's very hard as they will have to be really popular for like at least 10 years minimum but anime is becoming more and more mainstream too so like after 10 years from now I think any show that will become as big as demon slayer was instantly at its peak will reach that status.

Goku or Naruto level popularity tho? It's still really hard I would say. Like very hard. Also jjk story just not that long. But gojo is indeed extremely popular just cause of how good he looks not even cause of the anime.

Ill say it gojo is already more popular than naruto among non anime watchers also most of the people who havewatched naruto have watched JJK but the ppl who have watched JJK and recently have started consuming anime havent started the big 3 yet so yeah gojo will be more popular than naruto and maybe goku if the animation is sick enough dont forget that sites have crashed during the EPs of S2 when they showed juvenile GOJO

Nah the time advantage for Naruto and dragon ball is bit too much. Like bro no anime till date has ever crossed Naruto peak popularity globally. And google web searches is pretty big evidence for that. Like number of web searches for Naruto at its peak hasn't been crossed till date by any other anime which is actually crazy.
Also Naruto was still the most watched anime in Netflix last year somehow.

Well jjk stats is in modern era of anime. And google web searches is pretty good metric to measure how popular something is globally and in 2008/10 Naruto was bigger than anime itself.

the thing is there are alot more anime fans now than 2010 so naruto is getting more popular or atleast as hyped as other characters and anime and on the internet gojo is already more popular because of his fan girls

But thing with naruto is globally it was like how Doraemon is in India. Not popular as just an anime. Like Naruto was literally bigger than anime itself. Yes there are more anime fans now but Naruto wasn't only popular among anime community then. It was like dragon ball popularity at its peak. Google trends are really not perfectly accurate but bro this stats is crazy.

True it's mostly because of the games and cards that it's this popular but even as anime I would say it's like top 3 most popular anime oat as it aired in like most countries as cartoon show.

yeah but the amount of PPL that are fans of naruto will always be less to the new comers hope u understand what i am saying i am a recent naruto fan Myself just ended pain arc but naruto isnt geting more popular while anime in generally is getting more and more popular day by day and the day when Sukuna vs Gojo SHINJUKU battle comes around its gonna break all records

Half of INDIA has seen DBZ brother for real its more popular than JJK in 21+yo anime watchers , also sichan and doraemon were broadcasted on indian TV if Naruto and DBZ did even our grandmas would go kamehameha no one is going on internet and searching for sinchan episodes

That's the point "consistently" if ur very popular for 10 years straight u will leave a greater impact on pop culture than someone who was at the top for like 3 years (AOT example) also It needs to be a long series since because of that u will stay popular longer imo

Nah Luffy peak popularity has been still higher than gojo peak popularity till now. It will change with gojo vs sukuna tho I think. As fro jinwoo, he isn't anywhere close as character in popularity. And as a show both jjk and solo leveling haven't surpassed even demon slayer in new gen. It's crazy how big demon slayer is tho no? Like it's already one of the top grossing anime franchise. Being the most popular anime in Japan sure does help tho as global anime market is still not bigger than Japan.
