That's how valorant is bro, when i watched the group stage Cgz nd Xipto looked far more polished both AE nd Zol were shaky especially AE but a day later things turned on their head , Cgz didn't even shoot back and well ZOL completely outplayed Xipto who looked lost today

Agreed but tbh I based my prediction not on historicity but only this particular tournament. AE was last seen in one game showdown where they were swept aside by DSG the team which Xipto beat in grp stage. ZOL meanwhile is completely new team with addition of Emman and Hotsauz and the last iteration was also easily defeated in same tournament by FS. So recent form and even grp stage form here in predator league wasnt very good Zol lost to a weak Korean rep in CNE and AE faced a scare against Taiwan team Chaos Alliance being 11-9 at one point.
Compare that to CGZ who qualified from a literal grp of death where no team was pushover and Xipto which took down Thai reps in NKT academy and strong DSG and even finished 3-0.

funny thing guys the tournament has a huge 10K usd prize for Tournament mvp plus 2k usd prize for individual role mvps for which they opened google forms to vote after grp stage ended and somehow the best player in tournament as of now - Azys wasn't listed under any category lol and so many others were listed under wrong categories and you could vote for 6th man to win mvp for a role too.

Partly wrong, and partly right. Predator League last year also does this, so it's not because of Riot's hardline rule. Last year they also have a concert like this too, and a Bo3 Grand Finals; mind you, Kickoff last year was one month after the conclusion of the tournament.

Debatable, agak kecewa lawan ZOL ini valdyn in game read nya kurang bagus menurut gw. Utamanya di Map 2 R5 kalau gasalah, lagi attack bom di pasang disamping pilar box A, ngelawan omen malah wrap up ke heaven dan diem ngulur waktu, udah pasti omen bakal smoke bom buat defuse kan, pas didefuse gw pikir mau nge spam thru smoke malah nyampe heaven langsung loncat ke bawah anjir. Kenapa ga main close aja kalau gamau spam thru smoke atau lebih bagus lebih agresiv sebelum omen drop heaven / sebelum dia smoke. Keliatan agak bingung mainya

Terus dari unggul 11-7 Jadi 11 sama gara2 hold site terus dan terlalu ngasih enemy kontrol mid & b main. Udah gagal 4 ronde masih aja calling begitu agak aneh menurut gw harusnya ada perubahan tempo dan strategi biar musuh ga nyaman mau entry.
