Demon1 is a star player with amazing mechanics
Derke is a team player with amazing game sense
ultimately Derke is better cause he's a team player but Demon1 is better mechanically
Derke has been consistently a top duelist since launch of VALORANT
Demon1 had an insane peak but also quiet moments in his career
Both have same amount of prize money earned
I'm gonna give a slight edge to Derke (call me biased) :d

Nah D1 still has the skill but was on a bad team. same as texture last year. the team matters a lot.
demon1 is better, derke fulfill better the hard entry hole, demon1 is more like a trader, but hes more skilled than derke and had an insane peak

They were both once called best player in the world, but Demon1 actually proved it and has more aura. The only person that has more aura than Demon1 is Aspas.

Can't carry a team that doesn't have good igl (worse than no igls at al)
both good in their own ways. derke is more entrystyle duelist, demon1, not so much. raw mechanics tho demon1 has to be better

I’m sorry but you got the wrong memory here, he was statistically the worst player on the team tied with Marved. His Raze was atrocious and he did not look good at all
Consistency - Derke (He has been performing well every year)
Raw Aim - Demon1 (at his 2023 peak! in 2024 he didn't perform as good due to some personal problems with his girlfriend i believe)
Entry - Derke
Game Sense - i think that's a tie
Team Play - Derke
Stats - If we take 2023 Champions Demon1 vs 2024 Champions Derke then Demon1 wins by a little (slightly better rating, 1.23 KD while Derke 1.19, Derke has slightly better ACS)
Agent Pool - As a duelist Derke for sure excluding Jett where Demon1 thrives (he can play comfortably all meta duelists for each map. We have seen him on Raze, Jett, Yoru. On the other hand Demon1 can swap through roles like controller and let Jawgemo play Raze since he can't play it, but in NRG where he didn't have Jawgemo to fill Raze and he had to play it himself he underperformed)
Overall - Derke

One on One (Kills) : Derke

I think derke is currently better than demon1 as there is more to say about derke while we have seen demon1 only for one year
