I ended last act Bronze 3, played my 5 games to get placed (heres my tracker)

I win all of them, the only game I had a bad performance is one where my reyna dropped 30 and we won 13-4, so how do I end up iron 3?

max anyone gets placed is in ascendent so you do the math

u dont know, hard reset is a hard reset, not an act reset, this is an episode reset

I think your placement also depends on your previous act's rank

i mean most people get placed 2 FULL ranks below (a1 -> p1 for example)

A ascedent one would go to diamond 1/plat 3 if you’re being set back to plat 1

ok yeah actually if you win all 5 games you would probably go from a1 -> p3 on average, maybe p2, maybe d1. I was just saying most people i see get reset a full 2 ranks down. for winning 2 or 3 games

winning or losing dosent affect what rank you place, it affects what your mmr will be placed

That's normal. You will get more RR after winning your next games if the game detects that you are too good to be on that rank.
It's a good feature to counter people who got boosted or bought their accounts.

unless you only get MVPs with like 30 + kills you will guarantee derank from your rank . I believe you can rank up keep up the grind

essentially since you barely cracked into bronze3 last act, the game thinks you're still around the bronze2 rank. with the new episode placement games, if you're still playing within the standards the game is holding you to, it will place you about 2 ranks below where it thinks you should be
