Ethan can say that he didn't get any confirmation that the game was paused, but the fact is he was literally running around the map knife out checking each player's positions.
SEN were not doing that, their plan on pistol was just walking down mid and only suspected something was up when they saw Brawk afk outside A main.
I think Ethan's behaviour was shameless and cheating but I don't think it really affected the outcome of the game so I don't really care but it's fun to call him cheathan

They literally didn't though. I pulled up the game myself to confirm. They walk down mid into attacker's spawn spot 2 players, kill them then realise they are afk. After that they just hold their positions and didn't do any further exploration.
Compare that to Ethan, atp his entire team has stopped moving because they know something is up instead of stopping like a normal person, he runs around knife spotting 4 of the SEN players before getting killed by Johnqt who realises what he's doing.

I think it's very disingenuous to treat these as the same when clearly, at least to me, they aren't but if you still aren't convinced then I don't think there's anything I could say to convince you otherwise. I do want reiterate I don't think it impact the overall course of the game so I don't really care
