Kickoff had single elim qualification and barely any offseason between Madrid and league stage
League stage has ridiculously unbalanced groups and single elim rd1 playoffs
Shanghai has barely any off-season to stage2
6month off-season after champs
What are riot cooking
i think riot is trying to condense VCT so that game changers isn't overshadowed and to make space for league. idk why they have to do this when valve has no problem balancing dota and cs afaik.
whats funny is that riot doesn't even promote game changers at all. I wouldnt know its happening unless the players posted about it
iirc riot puts it on the event organisers to handle promotion so whoever hosts game changers has to be the one to get the word out. this is a bit odd on riot's part tho since they say they want to bring more eyes on gc but won't promote it themselves.

If there is no time for all teams to face all teams this format is better than having all teams in the same group, cause that could result in even more unfair situations
