Pretty much nobody knows how teams compare atm since a lot has changed.

EDG could come out and be the best team at this event, they were competitive with LOUD and EG at champs and those teams are a lot worse now.

People should not take chinese regional matches too seriously...we all know blg didnt look good at all last year regionally..yeah yeah ik they came second, but their gameplay and fundamentals were not even close to the level they played at champs...im not saying they are saving strats but these regional matches dont mean anything imo

Bro their Tokyo performance was their peak they beat heavy hitters like LOUD and NAVI. Their Champs performance was mid tbh, they only beat Giants( objectively bad team) and BLG and lost to PRX, EG and LOUD. If they can't beat a decent team in Madrid I'm afraid their Tokyo run would be on fluke list watch.

Also them losing to TL twice doesn't help them.

i mean prx, eg, and loud were also top 3 teams at champs and they took both prx and loud to 3 maps while eg were just unstoppable, so it's kinda hard to say how good they are
also me being a delusional edg fan i have faith in them

Ppl been underrated Chinese teams for a long time since edg 2 0 Navi the region been steadily improving. Literally blg 4 0 nrg and they look mid af going into champs. Regional matches shouldn't be taken too seriously. I feel like ppl just gonna keep underestimating tho
