how can i not be skinny

im around 190cm tall and weigh only 60kgs (133 pounds)
i see people around me eat much less than me still maintain a good shape while im stuck with a high metabolism
being skinny is probably my biggest insecurity and i want to get rid of it quickly before my uni journey begins (around August)
any advice?

You gotta bulk up! Donโ€™t eat crappy frozen foods. As these foods add unhealthy fat. Go for boiled chicken, eggs, oats. Have more protein in your diet.

i have/had a similar problem
im 187cm and weighed about 58kg a year ago
you can find calorie calculators online to see how much calories a day you need at your weight and height and you should add about 500-600 calories a day to that in order to gain weight(at least that worked for me)
also try to stay away from eating too many processed foods maybe

TBH u just gotta eat alot and make sure ur eating things that are nutrionally dense and not just chips or something.
Just like how people with super slow metabolism have to be very cautious about what they eat and tend to have to eat less than others people with fast metabolism have to eat a lot more than most.
But fr tho don't just eat garbage food. Putting on some fat is fine just make sure your not only putting on fat.

eat more. honestly that sounds so hollow but that almost always the case, ie, if you dont have an eating disorder. i thought i couldnt gain weight because of my metabolism as well but i just didnt eat enough or ate too much for a day or 2 and feel like im always eating like this and still not putting weight. be more disciplined about how much you eat and try to push more which will eventually increase your appetite as well.

my case is worse. I'm 192 cm and was 52kgs which is severly underweight. I had severe issues when it came to food to the point eating 3 meals a day felt like 'fuck I gotta eat now'. I used to eat a lot as well but the thing is what you eat matters more. Like make sure your diet has more carbs and protein in it. I joined the gym recently and started drinking a smoothie which I make everyday which is high in calories and basically I have 5 meals now and now my weight has increased to 57kgs in like the last month. I know its still not enough but I see progress happening everyday and hoping I'll eventually get out of the underweight elo hell. The only solution that worked for me was increasing the amount of meals I consume everyday which can be as simple as fruits for the extra meals and focusing on the calories in my diet

Well, I read that wrong, lol. Anyway, you're like me. I managed to gain weight by eating a lot of carbs. For breakfast, I have toast with banana and Nutella with some oranges. For lunch, I eat fried rice or buckwheat noodles with some yogurt with berries and sweet potatoes on the side. For dinner, I ate some curry with lentils and potatoes served on top of some rice and a side of oats with berries and raisins. All carbs but easily digestible, so you can eat more.

I think you need to eat more, but i have skinny friends and they typically r just not hungry

SO you need to exercise (gym if you are comfortable or just jogging) but enough to make you hungry, and then eat like crazy. If you have the discipline to go to the gym thats the best choice because you build muscle while making yourself hungry so its a win-win.

you need to eat more. do things that make you need to eat more (waking up early, going to the gym, smoking weed, drink a lot) track your calories. if you wanna get bigger while staying healthy don't do the last two things on that list. stop smoking cigarettes if you do.
