GC talent pool

assuming a pool of 12.6 million valorant players and 150 franchised players, 0.0012% of players are franchised.
assuming the lowest possible percentage, 30% of the 12.6 million valorant players are female.
that should mean, assuming no outside factors, that 30% of the 150 franchised players should be female. clearly, that's not the case.
(i have chosen to exclude lgbtq cus of no clear data)

what this means is that the reason gc is behind can't solely be attributed to a smaller talent pool. there are other differences.
im not giving any opinion about gc as a scene btw, just pointing out that people who attribute gaps solely to a smaller talent pool are wrong.

edit: let's lower that percentage down for experimental purposes. there should anecdotally be less women in ranked. assume that in immortal, you play 5 games a day and meet one woman. so, for every 20 players you meet, you meet one woman. 1/20 = 5%. again, making the same assumptions i made before, 5% of 150 franchised players should be female. again, that's not the case. there are even more factors outside of that women appear to enjoy ranked less.

immediately attributing it to physical differences is also equally intellectually lazy
they could just be shit players
they are shit players

intrinsic differences, if apparent, would be indisputably evident even in individual games.
the .001% of gc would be so far behind in a game with regular males it would be immediately obvious
they are not
the teams are bad tho
why? idfk
this is the 7 millionth thread on this topic

So you're assuming the percentage females in casual valorant is the same as percentage females in Asc+ ? :)

"assuming no outside factors"
read that again carefully

but then the analysis is useless lol. The outside factors are the ones that reduce a lot of these numbers.

i know. the point of my analysis was to show that there are outside factors. sorry if i made it unclear

Play in ranked and see how girls r treated when they open mic.... So most prefer chilling in swiftplay or unrated
In people who play ranked , females will be way lesser than 30% . But even then what ur saying is right

what you say is completely valid.

No what he is saying isn't right. You need to account people that play ranked AND people that go pro. Both reduce numbers of women a lot.

valid but depends on the servers. on Oregon servers any time I've had a girl mic up, probably 10-20 instances out of 1000 games, they are treated the same. no one is a cunt to them no matter kda etc.
also they have the best positive attitude

huh? Specially players that play comp it's much, much less than that.

Nope it's around that. It's just that females don't play as much competitive, don't talk in mics, or are mostly in low elo.

So you get 3 girls in your team every 2 games? Bro's saying whatever

I didn’t get what you meant but all I can tell is that they are shit that’s all (compared to franchised pros)

what if those franchise ready players are male on the top of the ranked leaderboard and with crazy stats? should teams really downgrade their roster by putting a less talented or consistent player just for the sake of the opinions? i think not. all i know is like 6 or 7 GC players that deserve Franchising based on their skill, yeah would be great for the scene but i think orgs want to build game winning teams not clout winning teams. and since 95% of highly skilled players are male there is a very little chance that a GC or any other Tier2 player would be picked. All players have to prove themselves, no matter their gender or ethnicity or whatever. if you are really good, you get a spot, if you know people, you get a spot, if you haven't proved yourself you're probably not getting into Franchising.
