They played well (except for this semifinal) the whole tournament even though they couldn't practice against tier 1 teams, because every tier 1 team is playing in LA. Huge advantage for NA teams, but NT

They made some minor mistakes and over aggressive decisions that just cant happen in a final.

Yeah, in the end M80 showed that they have much more experience and depth. They have been playing with the best of the best of the world for 4 months.

So what are Pacific and EU tier two practicing against?

#14
BronzilianYoru
-1
Frags

WDYM, Pacific and EU can practice against tier 1 teams because their region didn't have countries 10.000 KM away from each other.

The point is that all franchised teams are in USA.

all franchised teams in EMEA are in berlin

in france you can play with somoeone in berlin like 50 ping
brazil to na 200 ping thats the difference

#35
CryoZanderDerrekEnjoyer

france to frankfurt is not more than 20-30 ping
even people from madrid can play on stockholm with not too much ping

but americas is a whole different story

they dont get it they think pract with shit teams from brazil is the same to prac with franchised team

#45

yeah obviously understandable and unfortunate for brazil

but still impressive that union could build such a strong team for no teams to scrim against

obviously game today was very one sided and painful but i believe bad day

Yeah? So? The distance of Berlim and Paris is 1.060 km. Berlim and Madrid 2.000 km. Teams from the entire Europe practice against each other.

The distance of SΓ£o Paulo and LA is 10.000 km. Brasil and LATAM South can't practice against tier 1 teams because they would be playing with 200 ping.

Teams from Singapore/Indonesia almost have 5km distance between South Korea. I don't think their ping is below 100 so it shouldn't be a pat in the back for getting 26-8 and praise a pedo

Explain I am curious to know. I know scirms are hard to get when you have -15 of yours best players but it shouldn't be excuses to play this horrible.

its not excuse if you train with teams that are worst then you how can you inprove?
dont come here say that not a disadvantage

bro, the union plays against teams worse than 00nation, do you think you can compare the evolution that the NA teams have playing against franchise teams?

India/Singapore/Indonesia have a ~4/5k distance, I think it's playable (for scrims/practicing/strating etc) at 80-90 fps (someone from APAC can confirm pls)

Anyway, I'm not praising no one. I'm praising the team efforts.

edit: also, they can find a mid-term server to scrim with each other for example.

My friend have 110 ping from Malaysia to India ( Mumbai ) that's like 2k. Maybe that his internet problem or server are like that so i am just assuming also :D

#43

that's like 2k

Prbbly it's a internet problem. Ppl in Europe have like ~2km of distance and can play with 50-60 ping.

You are a bit wrong. Pacific is divided with a fkin ocean. But most franchised teams scrim on korean server. Meanwhile most tier 2 teams scrim on Singapore. Then again, I believe pacific teams aren't as good as SA/LATAM.

Pacific is divided with a fkin ocean.

But still half the distance of SΓ£o Paulo and Los Angeles. From what I see, they often scrim with each other. They can find a mid-term server to scrim with each other for example.

But that's not possible for Brazil and NA.

#34

I would disagree. Pacific is pretty competitive. They won't win against guard/m80 maybe bleed and the scarz can do it. But boom won't lose to 9z or oonation etc

#41

they would lose to the union too

But I heard Indonesians are pretty strict with pedos so I dont think they will win

Outside of MENA I think almost every region has decent ping to Frankfurt servers so it doesn't really apply for regions not being able to scrim other good teams including T1
