Additionally, Anthony "dawn" Hagopian has been temporarily promoted from T1 Academy T1 Academy Inactive to replace Ha "Sayaplayer" Jeong-woo (하정우) due to the latter's injury. The announcement confirms a report released earlier today by George Geddes of Upcomer.

Tensions between T1 and DaZeD have seemingly been brewing behind the scenes for the past month, with George Geddes of Upcomer previously reporting T1 exploring his removal earlier this month. "DaZeD and myself just had a different vision for how we wanted the team to play," David "dd8" Denis stated in the T1 announcement video.

With DaZed out of the picture, Rahul "curry" Nemani has selected to take on the mantle of in-game-leader within T1, a role he has not publicly held for nearly two years.

A less-permanent change, Spyder will be briefly moving to the bench due to an injury, with dawn of T1 Academy moving up to the main roster to fill in for the Korean, at least for the short term. While T1 Academy have yet to play any officials, dawn is known for his tenure on Knights Knights Inactive , hopping primarily between Jett and Omen for the team. dawn will be the second player to depart T1 Academy's active roster, following Lee "ANS" Seon-chang (이선창)'s recent return to the Overwatch League.

T1's tumultuous roster changes in the past year have failed to inspire confidence in the roster's stagnant struggle to break ground in the Champions Tour. The roster look to turn the downward trend upwards with the renewed leadership of curry and firepower of brax.
