Stewie2k yesterday on his stream;

,,Valorant is no where near hard as CS is, CS is strategically and mechanically harder than Valorant, even the pros in Valorant do not work as hard as CS pros, they think they do but they really do not. Valorant is never going to be harder than CS both mechanically and strategically.“

Strategically csgo is harder? I don't know how that makes sense when there's a lot more to consider with abilities in valorant.

CS is raw and simple, that less becomes more with anything being possible stratwise

But at some point you hit the limit with making strats with a smoke, flashbang, molly and frag grenade no? It doesn't make sense to me when val gets new maps, agents and strats every year.

he explained it good on stream: in cs you gotta count how many flashes, smokes, mollies the enemy has, you gotta count their economy too, while in valorant it is shown to you if someone has ult, you know that if fade uses her prowler ok 30seconds to the next one, you know if someone has an ult and how would you play around it etc.

Wow I didn't think about the amount of util a team has and all of that stuff, because even if someone dies you don't know if they have no util or all their util left on the enemy team in csgo.

CS is a lot more unpredictable, theres more info that you have to predict where as in Valorant its easier because of a certain agent. Also think about lurks in CS vs Valorant for one aspect

Thats a really good point. No flank watching agents like in valorant and everyone has the same util so it's harder to slow enemies down if they run down at you. I suppose it makes sense .

However valorant will become strategically deeper over time. In 2021, val was basically cs but with a few new things. Now its changed to be cs mechanics with a shit ton of unique utilites. Its why nitro fell off when the game was getting more complicted - vanity’s words not mine.

have you followed the proscene in the past 5 years? Every map starts the same with molly/smoke/grenade lineups, same thing repeats in the last 30 seconds (if by then both sides dont die), same fights taking place in same areas. It just depends on who hits the shot THAT round. I dont want to simplify it as just aim-duels BUT there are certain metas already in place on how certain maps should be played.

It is the reason valve released CS2 and completely changed the smoke physics because the meta got too stale. Imagine changing physics of a game, thats how stale the game has become. Even in competitive, if you dont throw a grenade stack with a lineup, you will get flamed while you can throw slightly different smokes (at this stage of the game 2 years in) without getting flamed. strats in CS are definitely more stale than valorant right now.

I disagree, it may look simple from the outside, but if you take a look from the inside, theres so much details with just one utility.

He's saying it because he wants to go back to CS and gotta get that clout back up

he basically jump ship when it doesn't work out lmao now he's seeing cs2 back so he wants to join a team. He couldn't make it in valorant. He seem so indecisive its actually crazy. He clearly just wants to make money joining any team.

All you self proclaimed pros can shut up tbh, stew is probably right. He was at the top of the CS scene and wants to become a VAL pro. It’s not in his interest to bash Valorant.

It’s clear that all of you got butthurt by a simple observation

No self awareness.

if he's talking about NA that's the same for every esports they don't work as hard. I don't know how he can say anything when he didn't even make challenger teams. His team lost to 4 teams and had 4 shots lol
