Is it me or everyone thinks that quality of valorant is declining?
Compition has declined alot 1 team is like domination each region.
DRX (5-0) after that (GENG 4-1)
FNC (4-0)
LOUD (4-0)

Fnatic, DRX, LOUD, Optic, PRX dominated their respective regions before partnership.

Bro snucked Optic in and thought we wouldn't notice 💀.Optic didn't even win A SINGLE domestic title and you call that "dominated". They also lost to Rise and eg ffs

Did rise, eg, xset win ANY international tournaments? Did any of them get close to it 3 times? No and no. Optic was the best team in NA.

Still didn't dominate. My point stands

How many "domestic" titles do you think Optic competed for?

I can understand this happening in Pacific cuz regions like SA or Japan haven't really competed much they all have just played within their regions , I think that after franchise these regions are more merged together so teams who were already experienced of lan events have the upper hand.

Franchise is a long term project. Teams had to completely reshuffle, it'll eventually balance out and teams will be able to build way easily and better then. they were before franchising too

I agree franchising feels kinda dull rn..games are being 1 sided and pretty obv...

I don't think games are being one sided actually a lot of upsets. Just a little bit chaotic until teams figure everything out, they have all gone through entire reshuffles

The Pacific League is self-explanatory. DRX was always dominant because they've stolen away literally pretty much the best players for every role of the region.
The EMEA league has FNC dominant because EMEA has a lot of awesome players but they're all split into a bunch of shitty teams, while FNATIC has managed to make a roster with 5 top players.
Americas would be more competitive if NA teams had a fucking brain.

I see, but man yeah teams are improving at alarming rates.

it will get better over time, tier1 players will slowly get exposed, and orgs will find replacement in the transfer window

toppling the top dog in each regional league is hard, cause most of them keep the same core and so the chemistry is already there. as you can see from loud, drx and fnatic. its gonna take time for new teams to catch up

Yeah most of the teams with old cores are performing quite well cuz of synergy and all but i think it's matter of time the others catch up.

It's terrible. Havoc is better than most of the franchise players but because the transfer window he will stay in tier 2 unless the br duelists play REALLY bad throughout the split. BR teams also cannot pracc against good latam /br teams cuz they had to go to NA.

the opposite. one team should always be dominating. but for the other games, any team can randomly win. very inconsistent

Absolutely agree i don't want any team to get out like this would be 💔

I don't think its declining in any real way. I think its was for sure looking not so great at the start, but a lot of these teams (especially in the Americas league) are starting to improve drastically and look really competitive against everyone if you actually watch the games rather than just look at the final scores.

100T towards the end of that KRU game looked like what we expected from them coming into the season. SEN put up a fight against LOUD and LEV the past two games (something no expected before). EG nearly beat FUR. And C9 just continues to look stronger than any one predicted. RRQ has been improving each week and even winning games which people did predict. T1 actually look pretty good and keep looking better. TL looks worlds better than they did at LOCK//IN. FUT look even better than I think most people expected them to be.

That type of list can keep going. It would all just be yeah the top teams will still be really good, but the other teams are catching up to them, its not going to be instant battle against these squads that were already strong (DRX,LOUD, LEV, FNATIC) but the longer these other teams are together the better the teams should become.

It's way better now, wtf ...

LOUD is 4-0 but drop 3 maps already, in Brazil they never lost a map, i think ... And FUR and MIBR can improve playing against the better teams from NA and LATAM ...

You can extend this reasoning to every franchise

Nah its getting better...Fnatic might not be as good as it is today without franchising, similar with other org including GE...surely there is a big gap rn, but mostly due to mismanagement (EG, RRQ, DFM, KC for example). And this is only the first year, we can still hope that in the coming years other organizations will improve...
