How the game can grow

  • All regions continue to stay competitive, especially NA
If one region begins to dominate the scene, as many other Esports already are, even if the games are entertaining. There will always be the slight repetitiveness that no one else outside of X region can win. With NA especially as they are behind in two of the largest esports in the world, league, and CS. A lot of NA fans could begin to gravitate toward the game with the hope that they can see their region compete and win.

  • Game releases successfully in China
Leagues' success in China is visible, teams like EDG and kone have shown that the region has some insane talent. A successful launch in China could mean 100s of thousands or millions of new people watching and playing

  • Larger off/season or in-season major tournaments. Ex. IEM, Blast World finals
3 major lan tournaments a year ain't enough in the long term imo

  • Riot continues to add fresh content and keep the fucking meta in check
fucked up meta killed OW, don't let it happen

  • Expand the GC series
More international LANs, and for god sake more than 150 people in the arena. Put some real money into it

  • Focus heavily on ascension
We haven't even seen the format yet and it could be really good already but i'd thought id still include; With only 30 teams playing at t1 at a time, with a game trying to be an international esport. it needs to heavily focus on an expansive ascension so that there are plenty of opportunities for a rising player and team to compete and succeed at a high level, while still feeling like they have a goal to reach for.

just a few thoughts ive been having, lmk thoughts

Honestly its gonna be sad seeing NA not win any tournaments with their tier 3 teams and washed onliner players like asuna, xeppa, leaf and derrek 😔 Maybe they could import tier 2 emea players like pyth, maxie and russ to even have a chance at the international stage.

I wish they had like a VRL finals but global, apart from ascension tho cause both systems are not compatible, but maybe too 5 from each region’s ascension could have their own days at a masters to play a mini tournament and see which regions tier 2 is better

Plus they need to cancel valorant mobile(or at least delay for 2 years) so that it won't affect valorant's popularity in sea and sa(heavy mobile game based region)

EMEA OFF//SEASON 2023 is going to be absolutely insane if the current tournament being worked on is finalized.

As for Ascension, I know the production is going to be around the same level as this years Challengers events if not a little lower. Playoffs COULD be on LAN for most regions in EMEA. Ascension tournament itself is listed the same way as Masters so it will very likely have the same budget as something like Masters Copenhagen. I do think Riot will invest a lot into Ascension. The only issue is of course people knowing that this is just tier 2 and kinda just disregarding it. Riot is trying their best so it just means us the community need to step up and help grow tier 2 into an actual good investment or else it will fall in budget every year cause they can't keep throwing money on something most don't wanna watch.

3 international tournaments per year, 0 successful tier 1 lans in north america, it's been 2 years since the games release and it feels like they just don't give a fuck about NA, players fade away into obscurity during 3 month+ off seasons, it's just sad.

dont need to cater toward NA fanbase unfortunately

We keep watching because we have the most talent, most interesting teams, make the best content, create the metas, and are favorites to win every LAN

Unlucky that Riot needs to work so hard to make SHITMEA interested in their NSG level VCT teams that cant even create their own hype (their experiment in that failed: Boaster)

hate to see it.

  1. add community server, imagine the amount of content that can be squeezed out of this game. raze parkour, 1 vs 1 , jett knives only, etc.
  2. add replay system
3.speed up the movement a bit

2) all the good teams will move and live in NA meaning ascension teams will not be able to practice against good teams. they wont get better at all

I feel like a format like csgo for stuff like masters would be really great for ascensionteams, maybe not as extreme but it would be cool to see the ascension teams climb the ranks while playing internationally against other ascension and franchised teams.

  1. Loud will still be competitive, Sacy and Pancada are difficult to replace but its not impossible by any means.
  2. mwzera and furia are a young team and I think can truly shine and grow in this league. no fucking clue what mibr is doing but

don't underestimate your region

What do you think is lacking in valorant compared to cs?
I don't think there are any major issues other than extensive breaks and games always starting 20 minutes later than they are supposed to.

I think the best option is enhance GC, for riot is hard bcz the amout of gender ideology BS, but in most countries with a succesfull game are related with how many womens play the game ie.
Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, Argentina with csgo
Kr with ow and lol
And in Chile Val is pretty popular and a lot of woman play it

I feel like it is due to the fact NA teams have only won fluke tourneys overall, without EMEA once and honestly SEN Iceland was just a shit tourney. Overall, the talent has only been degrading as the NA international teams become worse and worse, esp since the death of original 100T, SEN and C9, every NA team other than Optic Xset sucked. Overall, they need to imrpove their talent pool by importing EMEA players like yacine, russ and ozzy to have get the attention from Riot, showing they want to play to win and not stream only.

Idk it will just depend if riot f up the meta badly , with games such as these one year of bad meta can hurt the game, also they need to release stuff like community maps or servers and replays. Some might hate this or say just play cs but they should release some kind of market for skins if possible.

Csgo production from blast and esl usually have a lot more effort in terms of segments in between actual matches being played. Actually more engaging than val's casters/analysts discussing what everyone saw already.
