TenZ's addition to the Sentinels roster in early 2021 bore its fruits immediately, as they swept through Masters Reykjavik — Valorant's first international event — without dropping a single map. TenZ was in a league of his own at this event, putting up 289 ACS, a 41/18 record in opening duels, and a staggering 1.02 kills per round.
While the team was unable to repeat this run at another international tournament, Sentinels continued their regional dominance in North America during the 2021 season. They slipped down the pecking order in 2022, and were unable to make it to another VCT LAN, with their highest placement being a top-eight finish in Stage 1 Challengers. Despite the team's poor performances, TenZ continued to be the team's best performer in both Challengers events.
