ffs give us a good gamemode not a copy paste one. They were so proud of their replication mode, when literally it can be coded in 2 hours, we havent had a mode for the last 13 months.
also they said they will do their fundamentals in act 2 but they did absolutely nothing expect a jett nerf which btw came after that foundation act
they told us we will get skin gifting soon (back in july of 2020)
they cant even bring out random skin every game with the excuse that they want to think it fully through, like for example also an option with random gunbuddies and stuff but in reality they are just too lazy to do so
the only guys at riot that do something are the agent developers

Replication with all the conditionals and server allowances probably took hundreds of hours and several months of testing. Rolling out one update on all global servers consistently is nearly impossible. They arent lazy it is just incredibly hard to create game modes that players like and balance and release updates that are viable. There are reports about them being overworked rather than underworked.

It just does not take that long for a simple change like replication. A hundred hours is nothing, if they have 10 devs then 1 day of work is literally 80 hours. Testing takes a while but when you have almost all the game systems, infrastructure, and mechanics already written it does not take long. Making valorant from the ground up takes a long ass time, but a new gamemode is trivial because they already did 99% of the work when they made the base game.
As a programmer, making a new gamemode would not take that long, because 95% of the infrastructure is already in place (guns, shop mechanics, abilities, map, rounds, spawns walls, etc). they literally only would need to rewrite a few things and change parameterization (assuming they wrote good code)
For replication its literally only
Make it so that u can play an agent more than once (already in the game, custom servers)
Make the halves shorter
Add an economy system
Do the agent select thing
And thats it. Ofc u have to fix some bugs after but any good programmer would have rhe ifrst few steps in a few minutes or maximum an hour
The update on demo system is that there is no plan for it, as of right now. Tracking and rewarding Agent progress and player behavior tools are the current priority.

Riot is a multibillion dollar company they do absolutely nothing, they keep us hanging with false pormises and never do somethimg new. They pretended in the first 6 months that they will listen to the community but now they only want money. They are fucking lazy, like every other gaming company, miss the old days when the game devs actually loved what they were doing instead of hunting for money from 14 year olds.

I literally don't touch any of the other game modes except DM and ranked. Idk casual valorant is boring as fuck. They probably don't invest more in casual modes because its fucking boring, how many people are playing replication?? imo whats wrong with unrated, ranked and DM?
But yeah Riot does fucking suck, they're anti cheat was great at first but the game is slowly becoming a filled with more and more cheaters and hackers. They know how to get around the fog of war and despite their anti cheat being fucking malware and spyware on your computer, I've never seen more cheaters in the game. Cheating is only going to get worse before it becomes like CS.
