From my knowledge of the Valorant API. At the moment for it to be possible, one person from each game would need to have some VLR account added in game and there'd be a chunk of manual work needed to be done.

I know this is supposed to be a bait post but ngl the movie was actually pretty good

I don't think I mentioned anything about Andersin lol, he's an insanely good player. There's no point in changing anything about a team that's already the best.

When you're looking at only stats you'll probably get an opinion about a player that's incorrect. Controller players (aka zombs) are in most teams going to be the last in, last out. Their utility is arguably the most valuable on a team, so if your smokes player dies first, you're going to have issues.

So when you lose, the players who are always last into a site will have much worse stats since your site hits are getting shut down, your site holds are getting punished. Being selfless on a pro team is important, stats generally don't tell the full picture of any game.

Give me some time to compile all the Riot IDs and I'll make an EU version :)

Any EU teams you definitely want to see?

ty for the credit <3

Let me know if you have any suggestions for teams/players I missed!

Yo I made this. It's taken directly from Riot (the in-game levels). How they calculate it I have no idea

QuarterJade has played it more than any other game for her entire streaming career according to Twitch Tracker.

A few things go into this, but mostly. Sentinels have played probably the most matches of any team in NA. When you play a lot, you're gonna lose some of them. Also, there hasn't been a significant break in their schedule until Iceland. So I'm guessing they were a lot more prepared going into Masters 2 than they were for other events.

SicK has had plenty of LAN experience, and he's doing fine. When your teammates drop 30 kills, you're gonna have a lower KDA

I still think Envy will beat them tbh

Probably/hopefully Sentinels and Envy, but we'll see

There was a large gap between Masters 1 and now, so a lot of these previously "bad" teams are doing really well. C9 is one of them. Teams take time, make roster changes, make strategy adjustments, and come back stronger.

Swap Envy to either #2 or #3 and I agree

People are goldfish and only remember the last match that happened. It happened after Sentinels lost to LG a while back. A week later they go back to praising Sentinels. ¯\(ツ)

I mean yeah, makes sense. Definitely screwed up their momentum on an already crummy day.

I enjoyed watching Hiko for a while, the n-word situation was the reason I stopped watching him and probably won't in the future.

I agree completely it was an off day for them in performance, specifically when it comes to aim duels. But I wouldn't say it was specifically TenZ, I think it was an unlucky day where all of them weren't hitting their shots. It happens.

Facts

Sentinels yes, best team in NA for sure. FaZe I'm not sure about, one tournament doesn't decide a lot. If we see FaZe adapt and continue to go on, then I'd agree. But we also saw LG with a dominant tournament run early in the year, but they were figured out pretty quickly. If FaZe gets "figured out" and fails to adapt, they'll have some problems.

posted about 3 years ago

I don't think they're saying anything really wrong. No one is denying FaZe is a great team and growing a lot, but we've still yet to see a lot aside from Envy. I definitely want to see more of them and I think they'll continue to get better. But we've still got a lot to see from them.

posted about 3 years ago

This. I think FaZe are really looking good now, but you can't put too much weight on much of these games. Beating Envy was very impressive, but Sentinels are a different best. This could go a lot of ways.

posted about 3 years ago

Against some teams, sure. But they seem to crumble when faced with the slightest aggression. And when smart teams counter them, 100T fails to adapt.

posted about 3 years ago

I honestly am not sold on either. LG has been having a rough time for a while now. 100T has been having a hard time adapting.

posted about 3 years ago

Fair, I'm definitely downplaying XSET here and I honestly forgot about LG. Not sold on 100T yet and NRG didn't even qualify for Masters. But I do think FaZe are looking more and more solid the longer they go on. I still don't think they'll beat Envy

posted about 3 years ago

You do have to remember, FaZe went through via Challengers 3, where all the top teams had already qualified. I agree FaZe is looking incredible now, but we've yet to see them against solid teams (aside from XSET). Even compared to XSET, Envy is a different beast to tackle.

Yes, there are other good fragging site anchors. Sentinels isn't the only good team out there with good players.

posted about 3 years ago

He's an incredible site anchor with great util usage. The amount of times I've watched him solo hold a site, or secure a round with a flank, is incredible.

posted about 3 years ago

One of 100T, LG, or TSM won't qualify for Masters. That's crazy. 100T vs LG would surprise me and be rough for 100T, 100T vs TSM I think could go either way.

posted about 3 years ago

Definitely missing some context here. He wasn't talking about NA as a whole, just certain teams. The most notable being LG/IMT where they often play with less strategy and more relying on pure aim and just taking fights. It's often very difficult to combat this without simply doing it yourself and punishing their peaks.

This is one thing I think Sentinels did really well from the start of the closed qualifier to the end. They adapted very well to the LG/IMT playstyle so much so that they dominated both teams in the finals.
