Aspas gets too little hate. People pretend like he’s still playing at prime Aspas level and it’s all his teammates’ fault that MiBR are struggling. Aspas has been playing okay, just not at his previous highs.

RRQ. I think this team is extremely slept on, and I can’t wait for them to prove people wrong

posted 3 weeks ago

Aspas too high, I get the legacy argument but he hasn’t looked that good for a bit now

posted 3 weeks ago

Probably the most sensible one I’ve seen 👍

posted 3 weeks ago

TL should be below G2

posted 3 weeks ago

They’ll never believe, but I do

posted 3 weeks ago

No flame but that’s a goofy question

posted 3 weeks ago

I’m a big RRQ believer so I’d be more worried about them than NRG

posted 3 weeks ago

I don’t think the gap is very big. TL has days like this where they play incredibly well, but also days like the BBL game where it was just a throwing competition

posted 3 weeks ago

Preach. TL will have maps or halves were they look incredible, then have maps or halves where they look absolutely awful

GiantX best map up next

posted 3 weeks ago

The RRQ disrespect is still crazy

posted 3 weeks ago

Sen above TL. Sen had similar success domestically but more internationally

posted 3 weeks ago

Hmm maybe a small overreaction …

posted 3 weeks ago

Can you elaborate? I missed a lot of the match so I didn’t see it

posted 3 weeks ago

It was their first international as a team and coming off a meta shift that hurt them more than anyone else. They came back and fought through Pacific playoffs, including several huge comebacks and clutch moments, as well as a reverse sweep. People are getting to caught up in a single intl performance

He’s probably the GOAT. Assuming he wins MVP, then he’d be the best player on 3 trophy winning teams in only 2 years. That’s unheard of, especially for someone who switches organizations in the middle.

posted 3 weeks ago

Isn’t PRX a prime example of this? It seems every time they’ve brought in a new player that player has quickly adapted and succeeded. Notable examples are CGRS, Monyet, and Patmen

posted 3 weeks ago

Who would you pick from EMEA above RRQ? FNC looking very vulnerable, TH fold under any kind of pressure in game, GiantX hasn’t shown enough yet (imo), and TL is playing way sloppier than anyone likes to acknowledge

posted 3 weeks ago

Assuming G2 are 1st seed, FNC is at by far the highest risk of losing in groups. G2 and PRX should almost guarantee start 1-0

posted 3 weeks ago

TL just play way more sloppy than G2, a lot of throwing rounds. Also, TL have no recent history of coming close to G2 internationally

posted 3 weeks ago

I’d pick RRQ over anyone in EMEA rn

posted 3 weeks ago

NRG looked like they knew exactly what Sen wanted to do and Brawk thoroughly punished them

posted 3 weeks ago

Too one-sided

posted 3 weeks ago

As an EDG fan, please please no

posted 3 weeks ago

I think MiBR will be better. Hopefully the long break has given them time to address a lot of their issues

posted 3 weeks ago

I’ve watched all the BLG games. An issue they had in previous internationals was over-aggression and pushing through smokes, and in stage 2 they looked like a more refined version of that. They’re still very aggressive, which will catch some teams off guard at Champs.

I think they’ll probably get out of groups, and I think their ceiling is around 3rd. I don’t think they could beat G2 and PRX, but I’d give them a reasonable chance against anyone else

posted 3 weeks ago

BBL has a prime opportunity to qualify but threw it away against TL, I have no problem with TH making it instead

posted 3 weeks ago

To be fair, T1 lost to PRX twice and RRQ in stage 2. Even in those games they looked quite good, just the other team was a little better

posted 3 weeks ago

RRQ are better right now than EDG, even I can see that. RRQ would definitely be favored in a Champs matchup, but we’ll have to wait and see if the short break helps EDG as much as I think it can

posted 3 weeks ago

TL over G2 immediately hurts the list’s credibility

posted 3 weeks ago

Even though RRQ lost I thought they still played well, they put up a real fight. PRX in this form AND double map ban is just an impossible mountain to climb

posted 3 weeks ago

He looks even better, like a refined version

posted 3 weeks ago

Obviously G2 should be expected to win but if NRG play like this then they absolutely have a chance. Maybe like 60-40 G2 favorite

posted 3 weeks ago

EDG when Nobody is on Yoru 🔥

posted 3 weeks ago

Go to sleep and watch it later

posted 3 weeks ago

Oh yeah I agree with that, teams should always be trying to win. It’s also good to keep that mindset all the time

posted 3 weeks ago

Yeah weirdly being a 3 seed might be easier than a 2 seed

posted 3 weeks ago

Isn’t losing actually better in this case? It means you’re first round matchup will be against the 2-seeds of other regions, which overall might be weaker than the 3-seeds

posted 3 weeks ago

I’ll have another stroke

posted 3 weeks ago

It can’t get better for me this year than last year

posted 3 weeks ago

Who cares

posted 3 weeks ago

I wish

posted 3 weeks ago

Sometimes a fresh voice is all you need, like how Patmen joined PRX and they quickly put it all together

posted 3 weeks ago

Exactly. What gives me belief in RRQ is RRQs persistence and success despite all of the disadvantages and unfortunate circumstances they’ve had to deal with. They’ve got that dog in em.

posted 3 weeks ago

But they HAVE been performing under pressure though. They’ve been consistently clawing and fighting throughout Pacific playoffs, even when on the brink of elimination to GenG
