For China:
happywei
whzy
Rarga (running double duelist with him on Yoru)
rushia
Shr1mp

The only issue is that I don’t know who the igl is for some of these teams, so I’m not sure if I got one

posted 1 week ago

EDG should be pretty safe to make it. Not guaranteed but close to it

posted 1 week ago

Yeah idk what to tell you. I think maybe it’s just cause the Chinese teams are all much closer in strength to one another than before. You’ll lose some 60-40 type matches and win some 40-60 type matches

posted 1 week ago

It’s not actually that crazy of a scenario

posted 1 week ago

Cooked. Too much hope in DFM. They’re a decent team but they have to win too many really tough games in a row

DRX vs XLG

posted 1 week ago

Yeah I find him annoying. I’d rather listen to Pansy crack up laughing every map

Hear me out: I know Furia is really bad, we all understand that. What I don’t understand is why they seemingly never have any set strats, or at most 1 a map? I know the players are bad but surely you can at least try to cheese out a couple rounds on your own map pick?! What does their coach actually do?

posted 1 week ago

People keep clowning on them but at some point just give it a rest. Yes, they are a very bad team. Understood.

posted 1 week ago

Give it a rest guys

TH twice, PRX twice, GenG, G2, FNC, Loud, Gambit, EG. I’m probably missing from 2021 but I didn’t watch it then

posted 1 week ago

They do? Especially in team sports, most devoted fans can name who won and who lost each championship.

Also this mindset is so toxic, by your definition you’re a loser your entire life in everything you try unless you are the best and take 1st. Really sad worldview

posted 1 week ago

They took 2nd in a masters and champs. That’s pretty damn good

posted 1 week ago

I remember this 😂

posted 1 week ago

Hard to argue either side is winning. If NRG miss champs then this post will look embarassing

posted 1 week ago

I didn’t realize that. Chichoo should be allowed to just focus on shooting

posted 1 week ago

Even if his Yoru was better in pracs it still doesn’t make sense for an igl to play him

posted 1 week ago

I know that Nobody played Yoru the last couple weeks and it looked rough, while Smoggy played fade. Does anyone have any insight into why Smoggy didn’t play Yoru instead? Smoggy was a pretty talented duelist in the early days of EDG, so I’m confused as to why Nobody would play Yoru instead. Just curious if anyone has some behind the scenes info, thanks!

posted 1 week ago

Bro on that strong stuff

posted 1 week ago

Probably not, just off of pure randomness Furia will win a round, like a bunch of lucky timings or a pistol round

posted 1 week ago

You definitely didn’t watch EDGs games then

posted 1 week ago

Really unfortunate that DFM ended up as 4th seed

posted 1 week ago

100% agree. His IGLing also looked great during champs, and he’s been awesome in stage 2 (outside of DRG series)

posted 1 week ago

Idk, s1mon’s support util was arguably the best in the world durimg champs

posted 1 week ago

A supernova vs a prokaryote

posted 1 week ago

I’m not sure about prime kk just yet but I agree, Stew has looked impressive

posted 1 week ago

They can’t play both jieni7 and zjc at same time

posted 1 week ago

Nah if you watched zjc he clearly looked like he didn’t belong, his mechanics did not look good enough and his util usage was not noticeably better than Jieni7.

posted 1 week ago

Weirdly enough he looked decent the first time he played it but then looked awful the second time

posted 1 week ago

I think the problem is more that they have had issues trying to figure out what comps to run, especially switching from zjc back to jieni7 again in the middle of the split. They’ve ran several different comps on different maps to varying success. They probably need the longer offseason after champs to really figure things out

posted 1 week ago

He’s been playing better recently at least

posted 1 week ago

Oh ok I think I understand. Basically, they were originally an org focused on Indian talent (or talent from that region) and kept losing, so now they brought in all imports and still suck. They’re basically just a bad Korean team now in terms of player nationality.

If you’re saying that the org completely mismanaged their fanbase and support, I 100% agree. No team should alienate your native fans, even if it may be more successful. Even if it works better nobody will be there to cheer the players on.

Is it possible for DFM to land in 4th in the group if they lose?

posted 1 week ago

Can you explain more why GE gets so much hate and by who? I just don’t know much about it but I’m interested

posted 1 week ago

If they really want to bring in both Neon and ghoul33 then they need one to convert to a smokes player and play double duelist on every map. It’s certainly possible, but I don’t know enough about the team to know how that’ll work

posted 1 week ago

With mechanics like his, he should look great on any duelist

posted 1 week ago

His Jett on icebox looked great too last time

posted 1 week ago

Something is not dumb, he just takes more risks sometimes. If you actually watch his Yoru, like vs FNC in Toronto on Lotus, he knows how to play out mid round and postplant situations way better than he used to. Listening to PRX voice com throughout Toronto really shows how smart he has become. Now he’s been incredibly consistent in stage 2 (top 3 rated player)

posted 1 week ago

Unfortunately Talon’s first playoff matchup could be really hard. Nongshim is probably the easiest possibility and they’re pretty decent

posted 1 week ago

Nobody is saying that Lev are suddenly gonna make a run through playoffs to champs, just that Sato seems to be an incredibly gifted player. Dont know why you gotta be such a miserable person

posted 1 week ago

Both DRX and Talon are cooking this split though

posted 1 week ago

I think that guy just doesn’t know what he’s talking about, he’s lobotomized

posted 1 week ago

Sato was the best player in that series

posted 1 week ago

No idea, but the person I usually think of as being kinda similar to his playstyle is prime TH Riens 🤷

posted 1 week ago

All the Americas teams outside of Sen and G2 are super inconsistent. On any given map 100T, NRG, Lev, etc can look great, and on any given map they can look clueless

posted 1 week ago

Forgot about him, that a a good one

posted 1 week ago

I don’t want to be too reactionary, but Sato legitimately looks like one of the most talented rookies we’ve seen in a very long time. I mean that 4K near the end of Haven was SO fast. I’m struggling to think of another rookie that looked this insane this quickly, maybe Karon for GenG?

Anyways, I hope Lev somehow make it to Champs just so I can watch Sato play against great teams in other regions.

Anyone on Furia

posted 1 week ago

I’m sorry but if you’re a good duelist then even with poor team support you should look better. Even ignoring his stats he just visually looks bad
