Would you classify this sort of video as a "news report" on the state of the game? If so, good video. But for analysis, it's more about answering why the win rate or pick rate is this way. Would love to hear more why you think they are the way they are.

Maybe even in order to play for SEN there is a quarterly tournament where the number 1 team gets to represent SEN. Sort of "choose your best gladiators" for a Riot Sponsored tourney. That way we always have proven players at the highest level. Not Immi's best friend.
Is the viewership even that good to turn down an open competition system? The only numbers that really bang are Champions. VCT NA is pretty mid... Only SEN pulls numbers

Riot balances all games in their portfolio for casuals. Matchmaking is also balanced for casuals. I agree with this take.

There are a lot of people on this website that have polar opposite opinions than mine. I want to understand where you find your conviction in your opinions. Many times I will see opinions on here that do not reflect that reality of the situation. I don't want to believe you are on pure copium. I want to believe you've some how based this on evidence that I have yet to see.
For me, it's coaching and player performance.
When I look at an overall record of a team that is doing badly, I see a coaching problem. When I see teams running agent comps and a key agent dies before they use any utility, I see a coaching problem. When I see an entire league trying to answer the same issues with the same solutions, I see a coaching problem.
But when I come to VLR, it's instantly not the coach, it's the players. I want to know how you get to this conclusion.
Is it just that the community is split 50/50 and I'm only seeing one side voiced when the cards are down? Help me out here...

Drop your best Valorant obscure knowledge tip, I'll start:
Spray patterns on rifles have three phases. First phase is a three bullet grouping. Second phase, requires a pull down and has a jump in spread. Last phase has a massive spread increase which results in rng.
Think of it like a test. First three bullets are given but the fourth is to test whether you understand recoil. This three phase pattern also disincentivizes spraying at long distances. Even the tiniest spread value increase will result in irl cm's of distance between shots.

The entire structure of 100Thieves has been torn down. They will need to completely rebuild and that is going to take time. They've got plenty of time between now and the new season to get setup. A couple of matches should show us the potential of the structure they've put together. From a fans perspective, I would give it a month to make a determination.
The only downside to the entire process will be that the Valorant community I think puts too much stock into certain ideas and those ideas bleed into coaching in VCT. I hope they focus on the strengths of the players and ignore the coaches' prior experiences when determining how they will run the team for the next season.
