Zeta are decent, if heat doesnt go off I could see them winning. CR looks pretty bad though, HL isnt good either but I think they are still better than CR

posted about 2 years ago

200k Japanese viewers not even counting YT and Mildom when Zeta play. 0 chance they get their slots reduced, only expansion of total slots will ever happen

If they get hypnotized into thinking their executes are also retakes, they wouldnt lose a round

Praying youre right with Zeta

Tbf JP fans are insane and KRU are the only LATAM representative

posted about 2 years ago

Why CHOOSE attack lmao? Clearly had nothing ready, why not go defense, maybe win 8-4 and go into attack with some confidence and warmup

the only entertaining group

actually chances for some close games rather than blowouts

my brain says kru but my heart says zeta :(

Zeta need top 4 I think, if CR go 0-2, which they will

frustration/desperation. they were good but all the ones i listed were semi-pro or well known puggers at best when they were banned, and i guess they wanted to take that next step in their careers but didnt really think about the consequences of their actions. kids are just stupid, texta was 13 when he was vac banned and then became probably the biggest upcoming talent in AU CS, presumably legitimately lol. cant really blame a 13 year old for making rash decisions

posted about 2 years ago

babybay has been banned mid game in CS lol

also patitek, agm, em1lshein, tucks all vac/faceit banned. couple others too but when they were under 16, like texta and sayf

probably a lot more but they were irrelevant before val so i dont know if they have been banned

oxxgen is such a good name lmao. glad they went with that over oxygen fe or something similar

posted about 2 years ago

yeah, sharks won a map but imo they were actually worse than CR. they looked genuinely lost

If I understand this correctly, the points stay with the org unless:

  1. They swap out more than 3 players
  2. They sell the team, along with the points, to another org.

Pretty sure that the points will stay with the players though. When LDM became Six Karma they kept 100 points from the first LATAM N masters, although that may have been an exception, as LDM owner didnt pay players and then disappeared.

Edit: yes, when ArkAngel disbanded and became Galaxy Racer, they kept 20 points from SEA Masters 1 too, even only keeping three players. The official rule is just worded oddly, makes it seem like the only way to transfer points is org -> org and not org -> FA -> org

posted about 2 years ago

I think something happened within the org to sour the relationship with the players. Best guess is that it turned out the visa issue was actually the fault of the org

posted about 2 years ago

There it is, hopefully they find new org for LCQ

posted about 2 years ago

do the points stay with the players or the org? there are rumors that the whole visa issue was actually the bren orgs fault and that they didnt go through the process in time or whatever, if they manage to get out of the org while keeping the points they might. by dead i meant the org side, not a disband with the players going their separate ways

posted about 2 years ago

jessievash, witz, and dubstep already removed all mention of bren from their socials lol. bren is dead probably

skye/sova + viper. id say 95% of my games are on these three agents

Diamond 1, 113 ADR as a jett main. Obviously boosted, this dude is genuinely fucking horrible at the game lmao

Separating JP/KR/SEA/SA/CH/OCE but not EMEA would be fucking insanity

Also 2 SA instead of 2 LATAM and 1 SA is crazy

Literally just happened in this event

https://www.vlr.gg/event/662/lvleague-japanbrawl/group-stage

Blue Bees were disqualified because their player "Jayder" turned out to be a known Japanese cheater called "okinawapex" using a fake name and voice changer (as people in JP scene were recognizing him). Not a big tourney or anything but pretty crazy.

Also there are undoubtedly cheaters playing in VCT open quals but dont make it far enough to be featured. I get the notifications that people i reported have been banned for cheating every once in a while in mid immortal. No doubt it happens at higher levels of play

severe entitlement stemming from lack of discipline from parents. how do you think they got so good in the first place lol. parents probably letting them play video games 6+ hours a day ever since they were 8

posted about 2 years ago

Valorant is pretty popular and Japanese people are addicted to twitter lol

posted about 2 years ago

Probably "smth 強い" lol. It means "strong" but they always spam it whenever someone makes a crazy play.

posted about 2 years ago

Why two Japanese teams playing first? Is it to accomodate japanese fans, because stream starts at like 9 pm there I think. Kind of odd to not just start with group A and go down the line

posted about 2 years ago

yep, a fun geography fact is that you could go from norway to north korea while only having to travel through russia

because your aim changes depending on who youre playing lol

i think its much easier to learn the nuances of a game than get straight-up better mechanics wise. i think if T1 CS players switched within a few months they will be the best players in the world

he is doing well in squirtle squad rn and before he joined LG, so maybe LG was just a bad fit for him. or he is one of those players thats too good for T2, but not quite ready for T1 yet

to FPX and they go full CIS?

LFG Gambit should make it out easily, fingers crossed. And Zeta gets pretty much the best draw they couldve asked for
