after following the whole tsm benching bang thing i notice that a lot of these young like teenage, up and coming players are waaaay too entitled regarding becoming a pro. i saw a tweet from someone with a decent following saying some "underrated flex player" should be picked up because he had better stats than sick like what?

i just notice them throw around so much shit like "dude how come these teams don't give me a chance, they're just giving spots to these cs players because they were in mdl" when their own accomplishments are literally just hitting radiant once lmao. they don't have any respect for how many YEARS the players on sentinels, 100t, envy, etc etc etc spent in the gulag of shitter esea divisions, grinding out low tier tournaments and lans for scraps. the game has been out for one year and they think they deserve to be pro because they're sick in ranked like man

severe entitlement stemming from lack of discipline from parents. how do you think they got so good in the first place lol. parents probably letting them play video games 6+ hours a day ever since they were 8

how is bang entitled? not once did he say he was better than old cs pros and disrespected pros who have been in the depths of pro csgo. it’s all the fans saying this stuff

think he means he noticed it from people after the bang incident. not that he saw it from bang specifically

the way he talked like it was bc of the bang incident kinda implied that bang was what brought on this young player ego thing

There are a good many players that once they hit plat or diamond, they have an entitlement to valorant royalty. I know people who are diamond and ask people if they want them to smurf for them, like, what? And these people also talk down on me since Im B3 and progressing at a slower pace than them

yeah for the first year in valorant i went from iron1 go plat1 and i worked for that shit, it sucks to have people get smurfs for them because i take my rankups as a personal achievement. sometimes i'd get smurfs asking me if i need their help like bro let me do it on my own and feel like i earned something

i feel you bro

thats the danger about signing young talents too. the fame and the money may get to their head, their mentality is shit, they think theyre better than everyone and wont work to better themselves and so on. but i think all the young dudes in tier 1 team today have overcome all of this, eg: zekken, asuna, bang.

The problem is the atmosphere that valorant is developing.

Since it's such a new game, almost anyone can go pro within a short amount of time. But the biggest difference is not only the smaller amount of time dedicated to the game, its that it has such high monetary investments. Young talent these days can make a ton of money from Valorant because orgs and companies are making LARGE investments into the game, hoping it'll produce something back.

The amount of ppl with large egos is to get their name across so they can also gain some money.
