I never claimed my net was good. I play on my college wifi which has very high download/upload speeds but is horrible in terms of latency and routing.
It also has a lot of proxies and firewalls added on top of it and monitors and packets sent to servers outside India.
He is one of the most reasonable people on this forum.
Yet for some reason he too is ignoring facts and believing hearsay.

The calculations I showed is for the best possible routing. Anything in real life will be more than this.

Moving to South Indian cities is not easy. Definitely not for an improvement of 30ms ping.

Bangalore and other South Indian cities are hostile towards North Indians which is basically like 70% of the population.
A lot of my seniors have witnessed it firsthand - Taxis refusing to pick up north Indians.
Restaurants refusing to serve people who cannot order in the local language.
Domestic workers and Shopkeepers not trying to help people who do not know the local language.
Chennai and Bangalore are in the same ballpark.

In fact you know what? I will bring science into it cause I have been studying tech for the past 3 years.
Distance to Mumbai to SG is 6700KM.
The speed of light in a Vacuum is 300,000KM/sec.
Therefore the speed of light in an optical fibre would be nearly 200,000KM/sec because refractive index of the material.
Therefore light would take 33.5ms to travel from SG to Mumbai. That is already 67ms round trip time that is the mimimum theoretical possible value.
We can also calculate the one way distance.
Valorant works on 128 tick servers so that is around 8ms on the client side and 8 ms on the server side delay added. Total of 16ms.
Accounting for the fact that your game is updating at 200FPS, add another 5ms.
Adding all these numbers up, you are already up to 55ms. This is the theoretical maximum assuming your ISP and network switches are perfect and do not add any delay (which they do btw).
Anything less than 55ms is just theoretically impossible unless for some reason Indonesia and Thailand has different laws of physics and computer science than India.
Mumbai > One of the best cities in India, easy connectivity, easy flights, easy communication, you can get all local Indian cuisine here, people actually know Hindi + English.
Chennai > 7th 8th best city in terms of development but only for South Indians. Very far from the homes of most players. Nobody speaks Hindi. Only educated people speak English. Harder to get network around the city + not many opportunities here.

IDK what to say but moving to Chennai is not easy mate. It's a city with much less accessibility and options. Moving to Chennai is like moving to a new country but with lesser opportunities. Seems like a dumb statement. Living in Singapore you would probably not understand.
When I personally lived in Chennai for 2 years. Things were not like what you are used to in India. Everything is different. Language, culture, food. Its a huge undertaking for small Indian orgs like Revenant.
Apart from ping to SEA servers, moving to Chennai is an downgrade in every aspect for an Indian org.

Packet loss and ping are different. If you get packet loss that means you Internet is shit according to how networking works.
Get a better Internet. Not that tough for pro teams. "mumbai server is shit" > Not TEC's problem or any Indian org's either. Ask Riot to make a better server.
SG server is equivalently shit for Indians. I get 10% packet loss and 90 ping where I am from while I can play with 30-40 ping with 0% packet loss on Mumbai servers.
Why were SEA teams so happy beating SA teams on 60-70 ping for the past 2 years?

Push Eraser to secondary coach, get a top tier coach from EU/NA and a good analyst.
Don't want indo players. The only good ones are already playing in Franchising teams (PRX) the rest are not any better than SkRossi or LF. KR/JP/OCE can provide much better talent.
Then ask VLT to make a well-balanced comp and not sign 3 Duelist instalocks and kick out arguably their best player to accommodate another Jett instalock instead of defending DM.
Watch VLT vs GE games and notice how hard Rossi diffs DM everytime?

Rossi's rifling is weaker compared to the OP. His rifling is still higher than 95% of the pros in SA.
2 is enough. Heck, you will be surprised how much the team will benefit only if they get a fragging Sova.
The number of rounds lost by GE just on the basis of Aim duels is Insane. Rossi has good stats even against SEA teams. LF also frags out against SEA teams. Skillz is kinda in a strange position, sometimes he pops off even against top teams other times he is not fragging out much. In short he can stay in the playing 5.
If they get a good IGL and coach that disciplines SkRossi, they have the potential to be a top 6 team easily.

You basically need to have a college degree to get a white-collar job. Without a college degree, the only thing you could do to earn a basic living is some sort of business/startup which not everyone can do.
College degrees are extremely cheap here $12,000 for an entire year for GEN category students, it's much cheaper for poorer families and people from some backward castes.
You get really high-quality education (textbook education btw) in Engineering if you get your degree from a good college. DTU (which OP is joining) is one of them. The only catch is finding internships and jobs is extremely tough. So you will have a hard time getting good practical experience. Usually, top students in engineering will get internships in top companies like Google, Micro or top consulting firms etc, others try for foreign research/software dev internships which are much easier to get. The rest just graduate will 0% academia or industry experience.
BTW civil services are famous in India as well and pays quite well. But you need a college degree to sit in the exam :). Many just take a quick and easy degree just to be eligible for the exam.
Unis in the US are really fucked up XD.
