Most people buy laptops when going to colleges here. So you really really need a laptop. A PC just won't do.
If you are not a college student though, you should buy a PC anytime.
Tip for those suggesting laptops from outside India: Due to huge taxes in India on electronics and luxury items (which an 850 dollar laptop is in btw) prices can be higher in India from anywhere between 1.5 to 2 times the retail price in the US or similar countries unless the manufacturer makes extra efforts to sell the devices at international pricing.
So a $1000 laptop will cost around $1400-1800 in India on average.
My recommendation: Don't give a shit about the company or the brand name. Look at the specs. People will argue about servicing and that is the most bullshit argument when buying laptops. Buy a laptop that does not need servicing in the first place. Most laptops are self-repairable and for more complex services go to your standard laptop service guy. Most brands that boast about good service make shit laptops cough Dell cough and their laptops are hard to self-repair.
You can go with Asus TUF, Acer Predator (if you can manage to get it in that range, sometimes it's available) or nitro, Asus ROG or Lenovo Legion. Find the best specs you can with these models (they vary with time so exact links don't work). I am comparing cooling solutions and I have friends who have been running these laptops for 3+ years consistently.
PS: To people saying buy a PC, you really need a laptop in India. PCs won't do.
Old story, basically a GC tried to scim Maru gaming from Korea. They scrimmed them 1 time. The next time just before the scrim Maru asked if they were a women team to which they said yes.
Maru cancelled the scrim basically saying we won't scrim GC teams (with mild sexist tone but maybe its due to translation cause the Koreans aren't the best at english).
Clowns on VLR defended Maru saying that a potential top 4 APAC GC team is nowhere close to a team than got their asses kicked in East Asia LCQ. Not even close enough to scrim them.
Basically, you don't give opportunities to teams that are trying to improve themselves by scrimming better teams in fact they should not even be present in the discord group intended for pro teams to find scrim with one another.

Skillz might have a chance once texture WRONSKI bazzi or Monyet leave the team eventually. Man was always cracked at international tourneys and clutched where it mattered.
Hellranger might be in Kappa's category. Non-fragging IGL. His IGLing was good in South Asia (I could possibly even say the best) but once again he will probably not top any other good international IGL like Ayrin.
Edit: Also you do realize that one of lightningfast and SkRossi have a very high chance of not playing a single game right? Same for Monyet and texture. No way they are gonna let Kappa play with these players on the bench.
But hey GE did that with Kohli so expect the unexpected I guess.

Seoldam, Meteor and t3xture are very comparable to players on DRX. Just because they never got top tier teams to support them does not mean they are bad.

Do you not understand the simple difference between how good individually the players are and what team chemistry is?
What I did is simply state the individual skill of all the players is good or as in there are no "weak links" in GE like there were earlier. Ofc that does not mean that they are gonna have the best team plays and win every tournament.

You can't compare GE with DRX or PRX.
That is the entire point. We are here to compare the team and look at the possibilities. Just because DRX had a good run for 2 years and PRX for 1/2 a year does not mean they are immortal. Valorant is a dynamic game. PRX where 2nd in Copenhagen got grouped in champions.
Loud were 2nd in Iceland got grouped in Copenhagen.
After this rostermania you cannot tell what the power rankings really are at this point unless they play each other.
DRX were top 3 in Champions
That does not automatically qualify them as a team that focuses on firepower. They have really good set plays and teamwork and any player above plat can see that just by watching 1 map. That is the reason they win. Not because one player just pops off and drops a 40 bomb. Yes, they have Mako who is easily one of the top controllers in the world but my point remains.
WRONSKI is not a bad player. He is extremely talented. Just needs some experience. Monyet is still a top player APAC. Ayrin is also a good player. t3xture and the other guys are not bad either and were direct competitors to DRX in Korea.
I am not saying they are gonna win pacific or something. For that they need an extremely good coaching staff. I am just talking about pure firepower here.
DRX is a strat-based team, apart from Buzz or maybe Mako I won't really count them as a "firepower" team. Notice how Rb playing duelist does not need to frag out a lot of times to still win games? Stax and Rb step up when required but so did Skillz on the old GE.
T1 is still not fully announced yet. Yes, they might be good contenders but I won't count them on the list yet.
PRX has Jingg+Forsaken who are probably better than all players on GE but 5 high ACS explosive players is just too much firepower man.

When a new agent comes out, people learn to play that agent within 1-2 months right? There is plenty of time for the kick off tournament. I think they can learn 2-3 new agents very comfortably. GE also likes to run 3 initiator comps.
Lightningfast is already a flex player who plays a lot of sentinels. So he will probably make most maps. The rest of the instalock duelist mania will probably cycle initiator/chamber/duelist roles around for different maps.
Man the firepower on GE is probably the highest at the moment. In terms of plain firepower maybe only PRX comes close.
Ofc all this is useless until they get a good coaching staff.

Moreover, the benched and active roster has not been decided yet. They are going to scim with a mix and match of all the 10 players in GE. Whoever performs best is gonna be a part of the active roster. So don't act like Bazzi or WRONSKI or anyone else is confirmed in the playing 5.
You don't need Smokers Initiators or SEntinels when you can just run around and kill everyone.

So I (18F) have been playing VALORANT where its this overwatch and csgo mix. I also main sage, and my boyfriend (84M) got really mad at me today. Now he's fucking god himself. He's doing insane shit like walking on water, flying through the air, and prayed to the VALORANT gods to make fnactic lose against MENA team. I heard his prayer too it went along the lines of "Dear Valorant Gods, My Little E-Kitten Cheated on me, and fnactic is the worst fucking team to exist, please make them lose, and make all VLR.gg users go insane." So am I the asshole for making my boyfriend mad, and making him take his anger out on fnactic?
