I see what you mean, you're totally right.
I don't think that the winner of Guild/G2 will be bothered that much to lose tomorrow against Acend. Any of those teams will have secured a BYE(along with Acend) to round 2 of upper bracket for EMEA tournament anyway, which is a month away. A whole month gives those teams to sort their cohesion and create new tactics for when it truly matters.
I would say this if G2 fail to qualify for Berlin, right now there is a legitimate explanation that they didn't have enough pracc time with current roster
Yeah I get what you are saying, and you are right - I am not aware of an official announcement and this is an educated guess at best.
In terms of seeding, let's hope that f4u and Riot EU will have taken this sort of feedback into the account. We do have to give them credit in terms of double bracket format and stream implementation at least.
Accused, but never proven. He retired for family reasons, which now seem to be on the rear view mirror
yeah, sounds fair enough
Because the seeding for main EMEA tournament is pretty important on its own and negates his "this match doesnt change anything" point.
Why seeding is important?:
https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/EMEA/Stage_3/Challengers_Playoffs
It appears that EU teams that qualify through challengers 1 finals get automatic BYEs into upper bracket round 2. Thus, this lower final is the discriminator which team gets the BYE in upper bracket round 2 in EMEA tournament along with Acend as they have already secured that by already being in the challengers 1 finals through upper bracket.
It changes the seeding for main EMEA tournament
Guild got to ban Breeze
His consistency is gonna improve with time. I think he definitely is a rough diamond that requires polishing. Also he probably still doesn't currently have a defined role within G2 roster as they had realistically pracced with keloqz for only 5 days total. Although even if he might not be it, which F/A would you attempt to replace keloqz with? You at least have to consider that he is not much of a rager and actually brings quite good morale to the team according to interviews
I just think that Guild should not be underrated, they've only been getting better, albeit slowly but surely
yeah, Guild have an advantage of having a stable roster for months now, this G2 roster has only realistically had a few weeks worth of praccs together
New G2 > old heretics
kolda is a better igl than lowell
but..
niesow was the difference maker in the old heretics roster. Had niesow still played, I would say that old heretics would have not fallen hard for masters 2 qualifiers
ZYGIMANTAS "NUKKYE" CHMIELIAUSKAS FUCKS
gotta give the supremacy hat to cned, he is just too cracked man
Bringing his tf2 proficiency into valulrante

Yeah, I think you can look at it this way also: If tenz was such a difference maker, then instead of sentinel era we would be having C9 era. Tenz was just a nice cheery topping on the cake for the sentinels lineup, but the foundations of what makes that roster click lay strongly with shahzam
inb4 it's gonna be something like OG because EMEA tournament is still a month away
There needs to be a bigger sample of both G2 and Acend games to see which approach is better for November LAN. My hypothesis is that Acend can be countered with a bigger sample of VODs and I currently don't see enough flexibility on the roster if all of the sudden they had to change their playstyle to address the counter strats. At the same time, it is uncertain whether G2 can beat Acend with arguably worse firepower, but perhaps compensate that with superior flexibility
I think people are arguing that he would be more useful as a coach rather than an IGL. There is no doubt that this guy grinds, my opinion however is that G2 without kolda would fall apart really quickly in early and mid rounds without kolda's calls. People have to remember that coaches can't talk during the middle of the rounds
keloqz is arguably as equally inconsistent as derke is. Symptom of fresh blood imo
go send death threats to them on twitter to show the level of upset this game has caused you

yeah that's it, before nukkye joined G2 I was the biggest G2 hater out there, now I like G2 because nukkye is there ))
https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/b941e4aa made this as random and g2 fanboy combo as much as possible
still seems to be going then
how was your cry session after fnatic lost
I mean, I think people are excited and hyped as Carlos' effort of revamping the roster completely is bringing fruit. I certainly am excited, especially when it is such a good time to be a delusional_nukkye_fan
Sorry about the stealth edit, I had a brainfart moment

Bind - Fnatic's pick
Haven - G2's pick
If anybody needs a definition of cope, this one is it
Remember kids, if you don't want your games being cancelled at 90min mark, you better damn make sure you can close the game out in under 5 OTs
Gonna go on a whim and curse G2 by saying G2 2 -1 FNC
That's why I said an off day and it wasn't just Icebox, it was Breeze too. Had it not been for other G2 players showing up, there would be no map 3
If keloqz can show up tomorrow like he did on Ascent game vs Vitality, then keloqz hands down 🤲
Thank god that G2 had other players who acted as pillars through crucial moments on Icebox only for keloqz to wake up with a bang on Ascent
yeah that's true also. Don't want to jump to conclusions just yet, therefore I would rather brush his today's performance as an off day, regardless of whether he has a fever or not. As I wrote this, it seems that he is indeed recovering
I do think he can turn it around with G2's coaching, the talent is there - just needs refinement. But obviously that is going to take time and the question is whether he can solve his issues before Berlin LAN.
either keloqz is having an off day or he is not ready for tier 1 play just yet, too many whiffed shots on both Breeze/Icebox
