No problem. Coming back stronger for Masters 2 and winning it. Just unlucky tournament with world situation. Or tbh those problems will likely exist even for next Masters, but we still have competitive full non-Russian teams. Luckily we have teams to pick from.

Its not like the IGL was out, and they had really formidable replacements in the exact same roles. They even put up similar numbers.
wdym? vanity was one of the first strategic igl's and wippie was a sentinel/lurk youre a gambit fan so you should know that replacing nats would be a big deal

The meta was different back then though. Postplants and duelist solo plays were pretty much that entire tournament. Having a different smoker isn't going to have the same impact as if they had to replace Penny for that tournament.
G2 was literally the only team which wasn't handicapped from EMEA this tourney. And they played bad fair enough
under normal circumstances this master should have been played by gambit, fpx and fnatic. Emea deserved this performance, I agree that we have been very arrogant, but the truth is that the situation in recent months has downgraded the region
Hmmm EMEA not really dog tbh, the only surprising exit is G2 the others were kinda expected. Liquid weren't even suppose to be in the tournament, fnatic played with 2 subs, and FPX arguably the best EMEA team couldn't even participate here.
EU just unlucky due to covid. If EU had no issue in this tourney they gonna 13-0 everyone in every match.
