can someone confirm this?
I think people are underestimating h1ber tho, I’m pumped to watch him play
yeah he has 1.29 kd in eu tier 2,i hope he has the potential to play vs top teams
that doesn't matter, fnatic is one of the most strategic teams in eu they have a ton of set plays so losing a player for them breaks these stuff, for other teams like G2 i wouldn't care if the sub is good like H1BER they could still play the same with some practice, but here the situation is different.
I actually think that's the reason they are not playing with Derke. They've probably prepped for NIP with H1ber so it would actually be harder to integrate Derke into their counterstrats.
Not a confirmation, but he said himself he can't wait until the tournament starts. Pretty sure he's playing.
He got on iceland on the 8th, so because of the 5 day quarantine isolation riot ensues, he could only play on the 14th
Nowhere in that statement does it say the LAN setup has anything to do with not having a substitute player.
Because it's obvious? If they had a substitute, they would play on stage like everyone, but since aspas has covid, they play on a separate room to ensure the safety of others
Just like how Derke will play from his quarantine facility for the safety of others? I don't understand why you're pushing this idea that because Fnatic have a substitute they have to use it. If that was the case, it would be outright stated already.
LOUD's coach bzkA is a former pro and could sub in. The lack of a substitute has nothing to do with it. I believe it is policy for all of LOUD to not play on the stage as long as aspas can't because they have had close contact with him. That last part is not official.
yeah but Fnatic has substitute for Derke already so they might play with h1ber
Would be messed up to let LOUD play with their whole team while forcing Fnatic to play with a sub just because we had a player catch COVID a bit earlier.
True, but I think its up to Fnatic. Do they rather play on LAN with H1ber or play from hotel rooms with Derke. Maybe they are confident and have prepared to play with H1ber so they decide to do that instead. I don't know, we will see.
On valorant Instagram, fnatic lineup was showed with Derke so I imagine they got the confirmation that he is able to play
