zest and k1ng has different role, buzz is definitely not the best duelist in korea
ok i will agree with 1st point. but buzz is best in kr..and he have proven..both on international kr stage
buzz was really inconsistent. Rb with raze is more viable than buzz on raze too.
buzz and his shots became more stable when he moved to chamber or a controller. we'll have to see until we finish the playoffs to see how they fair with changed roles. because idk if u watched or not but rb and buzz have been a really good duelist since stage 2 (especially buzz) last year
before buzz addition rb was very very good.
but now i can say confidently that buzz is best duelist from KR (bazzi just entered the scene, bazzi also has the potential)
well if thats what u think i'll respect it but i doubt we'll be able to see buzz on duelist. unless drx plays 2 duelist
yea buzz will not play duelist this vct...but if drx dosent make to iceland...they should definitely think abut this
In their defense, this is one of their worse maps (they got thrashed on Bind in international games), but still they seem not as on point as before, or it's other teams getting closer in skill.
in the group stage, they had an overall negative round win deferential on Bind
imagine everytime a team starts losing its cause they fell off. Or the competition got better?
I said it and I will say again, DRX is a mediocre team who will be left far behind, not by WGS, but by another team in near future.
Nuturn beat DRX (VS) when they were both at there peak. I watched DR for a long time and notice that their game sense and mid rounding is not that great

they are new team like Acend in masters. Gambit, TL, etc, focused on counter stratting other teams rather than the teams which they didn't think would be an issue, Acend became an issue and no one had an answer for them because they didn't even expect to need to play them, probs same situation here
there are only 4-5 solid teams in Korea - WGS, DWG, ONS, DRX. DRX had at least a week of time to prep for WGS in the playoffs, too

If your talking to me, the past proves it, Acend lost in champs to VK, People started strats against VK, Then Acend got a rerun which they then won due to VK "Cheating", At minimum it gives people less time to prepare and at worst, they already had strats against VK and had to put in way more effort to find ones vs acend or they just straight up didn't have any, Then acend pulled out a completely different comp with an omen in it and all 5 players just played phenomenally and couldn't miss a shot vs TL.
My point was that, With DRX, They feel stressed, multiple bigger, stronger, better teams to face, they need to counter strat all of them in their way, While they probably don't even know the first thing about them, Acend hadn't been in big tournaments for ages, no one knew what they were gonna do, WGS wasn't exactly a team which had "known strats" they came for the first vct then didn't even play again till this vct, no one really knew what to expect from them, and then wow, just like acend the bring out a ballsy ass comp which works perfectly, while also playing fantastic, that was the connections i was making between the two

"Acend hadn't been in big tournaments for ages" they literally went to Masters 3 and got 2nd at Red Bull Homeground
they still got ascent & haven, and WGS isn't that bad too, their recent form is great

Nothing is really different. Other teams improved, Korea is becoming a lot more competitive and DRX just don't have an answer, even if they don't lose to strats, even if WGS completely fail somehow still 1 of WGS just clutches it up, U can't really counter that, WGS just playing well rn, Nothing changed with DRX
My thought is that Buzz's brim pick is to counter strat WGS probably, and if that's so and DRX are still getting destroyed, It's a scary situation for DRX
Neon is not hard to counter in terms of just ingame while u play, but it's not like hann is an insanely good neon, they are very mediocre with them imo, not really valid, DRX just don't see an entry because no matter whether stax gets 4 players, somehow 1 just gets the ace to win the round, it's a big mental situation rn for DRX
Yall looking down on WGS a bit too much and the whole scene just got better

Anyway, more competition is good news for Korea. Vision Strikers needed competition long ago and now they are having it.
