Ignoring leaf this was unironically once a very real roster they could have and you could even say should have gotten.
Sen were never getting verno he was basically guaranteed going to NRG because of the bonkar connection
He was just filling in for Sen's trials while waiting for his mibr contract to be allowed by riot, he wasn't actually trialing for Sen.
Thats speculated at best not confirmed by verno riot nor mibr. And it is pretty rare for a player to fill in for another teams trials rather than say simply the coach themselves. Or especially when at this point in time they still had their entire academy roster.
Replace Verno with N4rrate and that was the roster I was praying sen would have in 2026. It pains me that sen let both skuba and nightz go from cubert
I understand where you're coming from, seeing as how the start of this year with narrate was horrible. i do think that kaplan putting him on the roles he did was the bigger issue, and having zekken + nightz (once he turned 18) would have allowed narrate to be on a role he was comfortable with. I could also see the world where they just suck still lmao
I don’t rlly like narrate on initiator, even last year when he was playing incredibly Sen were still struggling with the lack of an initiator(I think part of it was Sen refusing to adapt around narrate and playing like Sacy was still on the team), I prefer him on nightzs role
still the role thing sen can overcome, the bigger problem is the lack of a midrounder, I think this roster would be at best decent cus of the midrounding
That’s totally fair. I suppose I was hoping narrate would grow into that vocal midrounder after his experience as initiator from the 2025 season. That way he’d be more comfortable in the system and with john’s calling style. But, based off what we have seen, you’re right that he’s better on nightz role
Verno is a really good initiator but John needs more vocal n proactive midrounders to help him
From what I have seen in Mibr comms vids hes really not.. After the year SEN has had , they can put zekken , oxy etc and stack the roster up but if there isn't players in ini and senti roles doing what zellsis used to do , the team will still end up under performing.Not that I want zellsis back but someone like him that will help john in those aspects

man back in 2024 going into 2025 offseason when I was a sen I wanted verno to join sen in place of sacy cuz I thought tenz was staying. man i thought zekken,tenz,verno,johnqt,and zellsis could've been something.
