that if it went the other way, you guys believe it could've changed something more than a team just winning that series

a few examples that pop up in my mind for me:
If KC didn't lose SEN's eco at 11-11 in madrid, i truly to this day still would've believed KC would've won map 3 and of course made playoffs. and who knows what could've happened to SEN's madrid win
If S0m won his 1v1 vs cgrs in tokyo, I actually feel like NRG had a chance to win tokyo

if in shanghai 2024, fpx vs th, map 3 OT icebox, if berlin stuck the plant on harbor, he might've killed viper Boo, and they might've won the series and went on the win the entire event.

yeah that's a really good one. FPX definitely looked so strong coming into that tournament, definitely could've made an insane run in shanghai

He fucking heard stax shooting at Trent’s foot and didn’t move an inch, he definitely could’ve known and it’s not hindsight at all. Valyn was fucking awful in high pressure moments that series, still had a great series overall tho

actually, I've seen people say this a lot but that DFM match actually meant nothing

I thought this same thing but I remember checking the group stage results a while ago, and even if PRX lost to DFM, they still would've won the tiebreaker between GE and DFM. The GE game was what mattered if they made it or didn't make it.

But yeah of course I see where you are coming from there (in a situation where it actually would've mattered), then that clutch was the biggest one of all probably

S1mon, trapped on site, killjoy ult ticking down, 1v2.
And he big balls stays on site, doesn't flinch and he instantly headshots both and clutches it, with 1 second left on the lockdown.

Heretics are put on an eco and EDG win the map, deciding the series in the eventual 3-2 match.

IMO one of the greatest clutches of all time.

i genuinely think eg win tokyo if leo doesn't win that last 1v2 on split in upper finals, double map ban would mean they'd get lotus and bind out of there and they'd have been outright favoured on fracture, pearl and ascent
