aspas has never won a clutch in his life, marteen is consistently insane in late rounds
on my life he never plays clutches to win. Y'all think he can clutch just cuz of that optic bind clutch but it's obvious that he plays for stats in clutches. Always too slow, always too careful, never making the right assumptions and going for plays

aspas is supposed to make space for the team; marteen is supposed to capitalize on space, and capitalize he does
im not talking necessarily about their roles. but both have someone baiting for them while they go for the trade. but aspas gets hated for the same thing. i do agree tho , aspas does bait alot

the primary duelist is expected to entry and make space; the secondary duelist is NOT expected to do that, hence why aspas gets hate
so people get mad at aspas because he doesn't make space for the team, not necessarily because he baits (not making space = baiting in this case). people don't get mad at marteen because he's not supposed to make space; he's supposed to capitalize on the space that minny creates as entry duelist, and he does that really well, so he's doing great in his role, whereas aspas is not.
you can't compare the two as both baiters, ignoring roles, because there IS a role differential, just like you can't expect an initiator to entry frag. You almost WANT marteen to bait, whereas you want aspas to entry

The role of an entry isn't to survive every round it's to create space for the team, even if that means dying. But when Aspas creates space even at the cost of his life, people call him washed. If he survives or doesn't take first contact every round, they call him a baiter instead.
I mean shit, I used to criticize Aspas for baiting too. But over the past few months he's been taking first contact, entrying for his team, and creating space even if he has to die. Yet he still gets called washed in most watchparty chats (especially FNS and Shanks chat lol). Then when he plays more patiently, it's "Baitpas," "Statpas," and all that. At this point, it just weird behavior 🤷♀️

every issue people have with aspas is that he does the shit he does exclusively on agents your supposed to entry on AND marteen has been in positions where hes had to entry and done it, the aspas baiting allegation feed of clips like when aspas sat in mid on abyss for a full minute and then when they had to exec a site tex was fucking entrying on cypher cause aspas wouldnt drop the op and dash in lmao
