Looking back… and it’s hard to say that they ever were that good, at least as people were making them out to be. Bangkok was the biggest fluke OAT, 8 team masters and they had prime Tejo and they still lost

A bit of both. G2 were good but they stood out more cause there was essentially no competition in Americas. However internationally they still didn't do that much better than they do now.

and our fifth player knew how to OP, wasnt 50 years old but I guess he brings in the vibe
brother, they wear performing well in 2024 and 2025. We wouldn't be talking about them this much if they were some bum ass team, they were THE best NA team, carrying americas at internationals, they just hasn't been the same since paris. They just kinda slump and americas teams like NRG and LEV winning just adds on to that pressure
Feels like they’re just crumbling under the expectations at this point. In the same vein that EMEA have FNATIC, China have EDG, APAC have PRX, G2 have been lauded as the Americas team for awhile now but with nothing to show for it while the other top teams from the other regions have already won. Seeing teams like NRG and LEV win before them probably doesn’t help either.
