They win SOMETHING for the first time in the organisation's history, then fire the people who delivered it. Frost is out and his replacement has next to zero head coaching experience. BUT! don't forget that not only did Frost get fired, Vlad got the boot too. If you move on from coaching staff, atleast hire people who can match them if not exceed them. Instead they gutted the whole coaching booth after the biggest achievement they've ever had.

You clearly want to live in cuckoo world but I hate to break it to you but we do not live in cuckoo world. You are also making up assumptions based off leaks. How do you know it wasnt a team decision for their veto against XLG? FrosT has even in the london episode that vetos are awlays a discussion with the team and the IGL. Why are you not talking about how bad the lotus which was Platoon's (infereing that FrosT mentioned Platoon likes more to play maps and build more double duelist comps) and how that Lotus was lifeless and looked NOTHING like even PRX's or there was no anti in sight.

From looking at these players and past teams, i dont think ANYONE is pushing them to play comps they are uncomfortable on, they are all flexible players. FrosT even said on his spiketalk episode with strong that the players themselves will push for comps if they believe in it. So why are you blaming FrosT for this, or will you spin it so that now since players want it, it is FrosT's fault for allowing it. Also i hate to break it to you but if you think what sideshow said about FrosT talking about players openly is bad, you do not want to know what your favourite players and coaches have also said about their own team mates and coaches BTS or in interviews. The point that sideshow made is such a useless point to bring someone down. And how can the rest of the team say anything if you have a player and data analyst on the team and possibly 1 more player on the team, making decisions, these players have their own careers to worry about do you think any of them want to be dropped as well?

GE picked a HEAD COACH who thinks picking the optimal agents wins games. Watching Platoon videos is full of assumptions and the highest of summaries with no depth. Analysis is not just repeating to others what you see on a screen. I don't get why people fall for this time and time again. Bro is a color caster at best. "NRG learned a crucial lesson, clear roles and strong agent pools." He literally believes that the NRG return to form was just FNS going back to Viper? Other players returning to roles just instantly made the team good.

The amount of damage Valorant influencers have done over the years is incalculable. It's like they produced a braindead language that is the gatekeeper to success in this space. Just speak about the surface level impact of agent compositions or roles and you're golden.

Getting rid of Frost was a mistake simply because he has experience coaching in a game that doesn't depend on abilities and agents. I don't know anything about Frost what so ever but coaching CS takes away the fluffy layer of Valorant abilities and gives him experience with coaching players in taking space with pressure and guns.

There's not a single coach in Valorant, from tier 3 to tier 1, that can't look at valoplant and cook up a strategy using abilities. The average vlr super-analyst can and does do this. BUT VALOPLANT IS NOT VALORANT... It's at best, 20% of the game.

None of your strategies with abilities or agents do anything if someone is sitting with a shorty, dominating a space with a superior angle, and kills a crucial player in your strategy because you didn't clear them. You don't just get to say "well the players should know to clear them." That's inexperience and if you're not building these ideas into your strategies they will fail.

There are no shortcuts and building all of your skills in Valorant as a coach is a weakness, full stop. And over the last 6 years, the coaches who are celebrated but are unemployed all failed because their lack of focus in this area.

Let's say Pat not being able to handle frost pointing mistakes made during a match was one of the reasons he was dropped, once a player thinks that they are bigger than the coach then the synergy goes straight out of the window because they will start thinking they are always right and would want people pleaser coach like Platoon being a yes man in the process and not speaking up when it matters just to please others.

Frost has had issues with players in past teams and most of those incidents were 100 percent his fault, but for GE frost has has the resume back his opinion up and have players respect him a little bit more than before, Autumn for example mentioning how frost was one of the main reasons he chose GE during the off season, these newer players for GE have had multiple offers in APAC but came to GE despite knowing how frost is as a coach. FFS he shit talked PRIMMIE of all people multiple times on talon and FS are very comfortable making him part of their coaching staff.

Also you are assuming the team comps are one of the main reason he's gone when most of the information that came out pointed towards Pat not agreeing with frost's demeanor and how he talks to him.
