To remain vague and hopefully stay inside the rules: America is currently one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ally to Saudi when it comes to their video game/esport investment strategy.
Considering how recently the EA deal was, it'd be stupid to jeopardize the momentum by trying to be "fair" towards (for their investments) irrelevant countries/regions.
