looking back it’s weird to think this team randomly decided to turn into a very competent team, good enough to make a miracle run to qualify for champs, and even make the playoffs but get eliminated immediately, and had us convinced they were a good team. Now look at where they are

I think it was quite meta dependent. They were great in double initiator and have struggled in double duelist. Also Grub was popping last year
They only qualled to champs in the first place because of the BBL/Profek situation tbh, BBL were clearly the better team all year before that
if TL lost to BBL that day, do you think they would’ve beaten GX in the lower final?
FUT fans (or just some attention seeking small media outlet? i don't remember) dug up a clip of Profek getting ragebaited by a Turk in ranked in ~2021, he ends up insulting Ataturk which is as close as it gets to an unforgivable sin in the eyes of Turkish people I think
They all then demanded he is dropped from the roster mid split, the owner is a streamer so he couldn't really avoid the topic in his chat, Profek was investigated by Riot and mass abused by BBL fans
He went from being a top 10 performer across Stage 2 Regionally (1.08 rating, far and away BBL's best player) to going -24 double negative against GX in a 3-0 blowout (13-2, 13-6, 13-8) and it was pretty apparent BBL was a dead team, I can't imagine his Turkish teammates were too happy either
