I mean... I know we lost to these teams regionally but the quality difference is undeniable between Korea and the rest of these Pacific teams on the international stage. Furthermore, the UdoTan, the only Korean here, had to hard carry. Can't argue against the fact that we are the face of this game.

Just need PRX to flop and Pacific will witness how fraudulent international events are without Korean teams.

As you can see, all of these occur in Pacific Stage 1 2026, which does not reflect the historical trends featured in VCT Global scenarios. While Korea has faired quite successfully, it appears as though FS and GE have a 0% win rate in these high-pressure matches, as illustrated here:

Just because Korean teams "monopolized" the spots. GE and FS are fresh teams at this stage so people better not expect miracles. But surely this is the best outcome for the region in the long term.
While you may think we have "monopolized" spots, we haven't achieved our fullest potential. The next step should be to create our own Korean region. This would actually be the best outcome for not only Pacific but VCT in the long term!

When I say "monopolized", I don't mean they didn't deserve their spots. It was just expression to describe the situation. For a long while, Pacific was just "VCT Korea + PRX". Now it's not, is my point.

It's just one flair. Maybe it is a "stange" concept to say out in VLR but I do not like only one team/region and one team/region only. And I tend to like players more, and follow multiple teams to watch interesting matches. I won't say I never rolled my eyes and commented against at some of the narratives here, and I definitely had my own biased and brain-fart moments as well, but I generally try to not pick a side in team/region-based elitism and shitposting.

Not really? T1 is a "maybe". Both FUT and LEV looked good enough to beat them though, at least be competitive. But KRX in the form they showed in Stage 1 (especially in playoffs) is not beating either of these teams.
