being completely honest, I don't see him winning a trophy. maybe if somehow we recreate GENG 2024 but with izu and mako in place of lakia and karon, MAYBE he gets a trophy
i think people forgot how good prime mako was, especially now that he is igling (and still fragging out).
he was the first pro smokes player to use smokes "aggressively", creating timings, playing in/next to his smoke to isolate impossible fights in 1vX scenarios.
i only said that to make space for mako in the team. I also don't think it's that big of a downgrade. Mako is more than capable of pulling his own weight and if you have players like texture izu and meteor in ur team, pulling your weight is all u gotta do
I used to think that too, but I saw buzz, stax and rb win a trophy its def not impossible
DRX came out of nowhere last year nearly beating NRG to get to the upper finals, not saying they deserved to win Champs but they were closer than ever. And they actually lowk threw against NRG as well
they threw vs nrg and fnatic in uppers. I might even sneak in that if they won haven vs fnc in the bo5 they might have won 3-2.
