For real. They are even better than Philippines. I don't understand why western people prefer Philippine English rather than Indian Enlglish.
indians who can speak fluent english dont have that stereotypical accent
you can't deny that Indians who speak English fluently have an accent, it's just not as heavy as non-speakers
As an indian myself with typical indian accent I also wanna know what exactly is the problem?
we are not native speakers, english is like 3rd or even 4th-5th language for most of the indians
I don't think so we are changing the meaning of words with pronounciation so what's the problem, its just a language used for communication, nothing more than that
fr bro, And the real thing is every state in india has different English accent and these guys just generalise one and make fun.
Yeah. Idk why they make fun of it. Indian accent sounds better than UK, I think they just jealous because you guys are smart.
UK accent actually makes me think someone has a lower IQ i dont make the rules
bro said Indian Accent sounds better than actual English people lol this is just cope now
Js doesnt sound smooth, idk its like irish & scottish
British & Australian accents just sound smooth
why are we comparing accents now bro its not like a fucking neon vs primmie debate or smth theyre accents 😭😭
now everything seems to be clear, its not bcs bad or sounds weird but the stigma
I mean only a portion of Indian have that stereotypical Indian accent, other people from different ethnicity and races in India have distinguished accent that can't be broader classified under Indian accent term.
It is funny af bro, "I am tybing frrrom my combuter". Same as arab accent with pronouncing "z" instead of "th"
It’s not that the accent is weird or bad. When big streamers mock accents from people speaking a non-native language, it kind of normalizes hate toward that community.
what are your thoughts on Uncle Roger's accent? His entire channel is based on him faking the Hong Kong accent while reacting to food videos.
Personally I'm okay with it and I find it funny, I mean that's why people watch him but I can't imagine how East Asians with similar accents feel about it
Personally, I don't find it humorous at all. People can use their own heritage to make jokes just fine but the fact that he has able to amass a whole fanbase using this persona (in other words, enough people find this entertaining or funny) is concerning to me. I haven't seen any other creator using this kind of race bit to create a brand like this
i think his career has mostly been perpetuated by the fact that there was a figure in many south-eastern asian families who has the exact mannerisms and characteristics as he portrays, which makes what he says relatable and fun for some. personally, i do find it a bit weird (some of his jokes land), but i do not think it is harmful enough as a concept to be a widespread issue.
I’m curious, aside from the Indian accent what would your other 2 favorite accents be?
Damn I cooked you so bad you had to run and make hate bait posts LMAO rent free my #SEAbling
Why make a top, as a french I cherish every accent the same, North, QC, Belgium, North, Africa, all of them are sugar to my ears
Indian accent is fucking hilarious. It sounds like you’re intentionally trying to be funny.
Bruh most of us who speak fluent English regularly in a professional setting or otherwise don't even have that stereotypical accent. I don't even know whether people are just this braindead or just ragebaiting constantly.
