excerpts from an interview with DERKE after the FUT game. theres a few quotes i want to highlight for you guys

PRX's 1 real achievement is barely winning a double map ban grand final against FNATIC and losing to FNATIC every other time in the same year.

btw PRX got lucky to have that double map ban. Both FNC and PRX lost to GEN.G in Toronto, but PRX lost in groups and FNC lost in playoffs.

meanwhile Derke has never been grouped at any global event he's attended and always gets top 8 or better

some heretics games on playoffs or groupstage there was a quiz during half time (on a lotus i think) asking how many global VCT events heretics attended (not qualified, attended) and the answer completely ignored lockin and only counted masters and champions

aspas vs derke is a dumb debate, there's literally periods of val's history where one or the other clearly dominated. the only question for the best duelist oat argument is if derke goes on another streak of crazy performances like he did in '22 and '23. aspas was by both eye test and actual performances better than derke in '24 and '25, but this year derke has been significantly better

i mean just look at the stats. Derke is clearly the better performing player internationally while aspas is the better player regionally 🤷‍♂️
