who are you competing against in games like DOOM Eternal? ghosts?
also saying this about one of the most active competitive scenes in speedrunning minecraft and modded minecraft along with things like MCC is funny
is doom not something like league
oh thats dota
yeah so doom is also not a real game
i dont think of them as games
its just a form of entertainment
the word game throughout history has been used for a competition, starting from the times when people used to fight each other to death
idk what doom is about
but if it has two or more players competing against each other in a pre set world of rules to find out whos better
then its a real game
This might be the dumbest take i have ever seen on this site and trust me i've seen dumb takes.
mario and sonic vancouver olympic games is an incredible pull w ball knowledge
Given that you currently have D4, do you enjoy the current D3 balance, or is this based on the old patches (just cause they feel like they have very different approaches)?
i enjoyed the D3 approach on balancing more than the D4 approach ngl
but i haven't really played D3 in a minute so i don't really know about the current D3 balance, so maybe they fucked it up idk
mainly i like the direction D4 has taken with the Lord of Hatred expansion (i quite like the crafting mechanic and skill tree changes), but some things have to change regarding the actual fight mechanics ngl (the insta kills have been atrocious this season, i need that endurant faith charm but i cant seem to get an ancestral unique endurant faith drop anywhere to craft the charm even though i'm in torment 12)
Oh I completely forgot D4 got a new expansion. Gotta fork over cash eventually ig
And yea insta kills are a Diablo special at this point; no clue how they'd end up fixing it without making the game slower though
i got really lucky cuz i refused to pay for the vessel of hatred pack for $40 and then i got a deal where i got both expansions for only 30
i think they just gotta do something like highlight the insta kill objects, like im running apocalypse warlock and i cannot see shit on the floor/screen
blue prince is a great shout ngl
is it a "I played it and loved it so much that its my fav" game for you, or do you still find yourself returning to it after finishing it?
i had the immense pleasure of playing it without really knowing what it is and falling in love with the game as a whole
there are still things i haven’t discovered and probably never will and the fact there’s so much to find / there’s so much attention to detail is something i’ve never found in a video game ever
also helps that i have a best friend equally addicted to the game and we do a lot of lore talk, so i still play it actively to keep up
o yea having someone whos also in love with the game def helps
but nice to hear peeps are still playing it^^ Gl with your rng
hollow knight
elden ring
ghost of yotei
hms to silksong, nightreign, skyrim, minecraft
I don't know which I had more fun doing, playing the game or messing around in the editor
I would have said skyrim but it became way too boring after playing the game a million of times.
all time:
gta 4
gears of war 2 or 3
halo 3
right now:
mount and blade bannerlord
val
project zomboid
Damn i didn't expect to see bannerlord here. It has insane potantial but talewords can't do good shit. I played more than 500 hours and without mods the game wouldn't even be good.
There is a lotr mod? I know there is a warhammer and GoT mods but never seen lotr mod.
hell yeah
driving in night city was more fun for me than the driving in gta 5
