Are the rumors true is Eggsterr retiring?
If he gets booted off Envy nobody is gonna pick him up what else is he supposed to do?
i mean he initially said his entire plan was to play 1 year in vct just to prove that he could then go back to streaming
why is everyone so mean to egg he made it to vct as a ranked streamer who plays one agent
yeah he said in stream, he said his heart isn't in it anymore, he originally wanted just to content create and thought it would be a fun time to try his best competing with yoru, and when he got nerfed he realized there's levels to this and he isn't willing to the put the effort to compete without yoru.
he prob will lock yoru at his last game today, for the sake of it
Kicked Inspire just to keep a guy who will play 1 season and have a yoru farewell game im crine
I mean teams are getting reevaluated at the end of this year anyways and ENVY 100% ain't making it through that so only thinking about playing 1 season makes sense.
biggest publicity cop out in VCT - instead of benching or cutting Eggster, they "celebrate him" by him playing his 1 trick in their last match. Calling a spade a spade, man is retiring because he can't play any other agent to a high level (nor is he willing to put in the work to get better at other agents to keep NV competitive). NV would have been better off with Inspire this stage and have Demon1 and Keznit play double duelist and one of them flex but someone is smoking some good ganja thinking keeping a 1 trick after they kill his agent was the best move forward lol
crazy part is he said that in his retirement he doesnt like playing other agents just yoru. put the pitch fork down.
crazier part is NV keeping 1 trick instead of trying to compete in the league. From a business/operations perspective (orgs main goal is to win and win international titles) you have two options: keep the 1 trick and hope it works out or replace him. Clearly they made the wrong decision and so to have a "graceful fall", you allow him to retire.
