my friend keeps asking me to play in his silver/gold games
im d3 and would pretty much make the game unfun for all 10 of us if i played seriously
if i play unseriously i end up throwing and losing rr for 3 innocent golds
unrated is not an option

not really half of diamonds are still horrible mech wise and wont reliably out shoot golds
half of diamond is boosted anyways but high dia/low asc would still smurf on silver/gold if they actually try to win
mechs wise there is definitely a noticable gap regardless of how shit both elos are
What i usually do when i play with my low rank friends is play a super supportive role so I CAN get kills, but im usually too busy throwing a haunt or something to frag out like crazy, or smoke

If you are Diamond and in Gold, its not a smurf. even if you try your best you wouldn't hard topfrag.
Downvoted but this is actually the truth. I've seen countless smurfs in Silver/Gold/Plat lose games because that's just how those lobbies are
just play initiator/smokes, and comm for ur team and coach them on what they should do. helps them learn and you aren't trying to hard carry

I was ascendant 3 and smurfed at silver,gold lobbies with 4 accounts.
It will also make u dumb if you play halfheartedly. Because you know you are better than them, you'll just walk around without thinking.
I agree with #16, 5 stack is the solution.
dont think too much about it. just dont try, or play astra or some shit if youre that concerned about it. play for fun bro
just play off role and an agent you never tried before, also dw stress it a dia and gold is basically the same
