imagine liquid and liquid academy fighting against each other in tier1 that would be really cool but riot is stupid so they just banned it for no reason

KOI academy were pbb better than KOI for most of the year and last year's KCBS would be at least equivalent to current KC if not better
It would give liquid two spots in Tier 1 that a team who hasn't had the spotlight could grab.
there should be ways for the academy team roster to continue if the org allows but yea one org shouldn't have two slots in a league
The point of an academy team, from an org standpoint, is to sign players for a low amount and have them play in tier 2 in hopes they either get bought out by other teams or be able to upgrade the main roster for cheap. it makes no sense to allow acad teams in ascension when they're going to dissolve, or worse, you have two teams in vct represented by the same org
An academy teams whole purpose is developing talent for an org to use in tier 1, if said academy team is in tier 1 then they aren't really developing talent for the org and are just using the talent themselves.
